Space abilities lag

When activating a space ability on Tribble, I have some lag. About 1s before the ability is selected.

I'm not talking about the good old lag we always had, that makes an abilities goes through an "activation time" while preventing you from firing and all.
It's on top of it. We have to wait about a second before the activation time begin.

Also, and I think it's related, the visual feedback for any timer lags to (the clock like animation on skill). Usually the clock animation is smooth, but currently it's not. Timers doesn't seems to be affected, it's just visual lag.

No other lag whatsoever, and my connection is fine.

^ This. I tested on Tribble today for a couple hours and this was one of the first things I noticed. The UI lag is terrible, but it does seem to be a semi-visual problem. Click on Tac Team, see shields being distributed, about 1.5-2 seconds later the TT icon appears as a buff on your ship. Same with every ability I used, EPtEngines, EPtShields, Omega, torpedo spread (that's another fun one to watch happen). Something has turned the UI silly, and should be fixed before it hits Holo.

Holodeck is fine: press the key, it responds immediately, no lag time.

Can you imagine trying to time a BO or torp HY with that? Prep BO, see opportunity, hit the dual beam bank to fire...and nothing happens until 2 seconds later, after that opportunity has passed. Talk about needing foresight.

Noticed this too, oddly it doesn't seem to be there when I activate abilities with keys, only by clicking on them. It seems like the click registers and the ability activates, but the visuals lag behind.

While you're at it, could you take a look at this bug.

EPTX (ept-s, ept-w mostly) have longer Cooldown than it should be *see post #5*

I think it's been around since Season 8. It's definitely more than a year old.
    Waiting for a programmer ...

Indeed, the lag with this is horrid. I've noticed that weapons that are pointing at ships within their firing arc also lag before registering that it is available to fire.

Are you seeing the lag in mostly with teams or also when playing solo?

I've seen lag when testing team content, but not while solo on maps. I've written up the issue, but if you've got any more information on when you're seeing this lag on Tribble, please share.

The real issue is not necessarily lag, but more so the UI "Refresh Rate" that's really slow. In other words, the power activation works correctly, however the UI simply doesn't reflect this until a couple seconds later. Something that might be helpful to look for is the amount of time between "Movements" of the cooldown rotational images in weapons and abilities. It seems as though each "Movement" of the cooldown image rotation occurs after a longer time than on holodeck, and that's what is being interpreted as lag. I'm sorry if this sounds confusing, but this is how I've been observing this bug.

I'm experiencing it solo. As captainmd10 says, it doesn't seem to be actual lag with the activation, but with the visuals on the boff/hotbar for showing the ability being activated and the global cooldown. It "feels" like there's lag when you click on a power because those visuals start late.

Going to echo the report. There is, as previously mentioned, about a 1-second delay between clicking an ability and the UI actually registering/providing feedback for the activation. Solo play.

I don't know if this is related but when setting up the trays for a new ship on Tribble, when scrolling to a different bar, the bar will lag a very long time before it loads and then it does not "draw" correctly leaving a quantum shadow of the previous bar showing. The next bar is actually empty but the icons from the previous bar will linger until a slot is clicked on. If left to wait, it will clear itself. It can be a considerably long lag.
Wow. There is a new KDF Science ship. I'll be!

During down time of this going live to holodeck i'm on tribble experiencing these issues.

I am experiencing this as well.

Additionally, cooldown timers seem to go in increments of 2 seconds, including skill cooldowns and project timers.
