I still can't claim the Breen Crusier at the discounted price

Greetings All,

Even after todays patch I still can't manage to get the Breen Cruiser at the discounted rate.

I followed the instructions that were listed in the update report of todays patch and saw the account wide unlock message but still when I log to my characters that do not have the Breen Cruiser the amount stated still list 1000 pics needed even after slotting it.

I read that the 1000 price was just a text error and the amount needed would be 40 after the project was slotted but the amount needed still states 1000 in the project progress bar.

Is anyone else encountering this still?

I claimed the Breen Cruiser the 1st year that it came out and I've yet to unpack the ship on any of the characters that have it.

Is it possible that the ship needs to be unpacked on one of the characters to get the discount on it for the rest of the characters?

    its possible you need to unpack it for the discount to apply

    I got all the ships earlier today with no problems

    Interesting... I got my first Carrier at 1000 and the second at like 40 or some rediculously discounted price. Bob may be irght - unpack it on one character and then see if it is discounted for another.

    it does need to be unpacked before it will apply the discount to other characters, somehow the game cant recognise that you have completed the project or that there is a box sitting on your account, it only notices if the ship is actively in a characters available ship pool.

    Try dismissing the project and reslotting, log out if that hasn't worked, and try again.
    It eventually works.
    Log on to the character who earned the ship as well.
    I had the same issue tonight, but dismissing the project and toon hopping seemed to correct it.
    Got all 3 ships on 3 toons.

    Ok so I unpacked the Breen Cruiser on one of my KDF Engineers and switched back to one of my other characters that still needed the cruiser.

    It still stated that I need 1000 pics but this time in the progress bar in showed that I only need 40 so I contributed the 40 pics and the progress bar moved to 4% and is greyed out and will not complete :mad:

    I knew that Cryptic has it in for me :P

    But for real this a really getting on my nerves.

    I filed a ticket and guess there's nothing left to do but wait for some speedy customer service :rolleyes:

    I got all 3 ships this year for 3 toons.
    I only opened the T6 on my main, so I don't think its an opening issue.

    I am also having the same issue - however my ships are unpacked and it shows that it needs a 1000 pics to get the last ship of the set.....

    Odd, last christmas event and risas summer one it needed to be unpacked. Maybe they changed it this year and thats half of what stopped the counters and discounts from working.

    Then you didn't follow the instructions. Go to WW. Talk to Q with the character that has the ship. Go through all the dialog options. Change maps and change characters. Queue project.

    I got the discount after shutting down the game and restarting :D

    Darn I guess I have to close my ticket now :P

    Does this apply to all ships in the WW Event no matter which one you unlocked, or just the one you unlocked?? I thought that one unlocked all.

    Have the toon that has unlocked the ship talk to Q in the Winter Wonderland. That has unlocked everything for me.

    It unlocks for the ship you purchased. To get the discount on all three you have to have purchased all three, each at the full 1000 picture price.

    Purchasing a ship will unlock the discount for that ship across your account but only for that ship.
    This is my Risian Corvette. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
