Placing custom macro in tray?

Hey folks, relatively new to STO but CoH/CoV veteran (City of Heroes/Villains) which used a very similar keybind system.

The Question (tl;dr):
Is there a method of creating a keybind/macro that places a button in your power tray to execute that macro?

Example: Teleport power macro I used in CoH/CoV (Recall Friend; TP ally to your location) was set to show a message letting them know I was attempting to TP them to me, allowing them to cancel prior to execution. The creation process provided me with a gray button on my power tray, allowing me to create multiple TP macros

When using the macro,
I saw: "Whatever you do $target, don't step into the light!"
They saw: "(custom witty message from above)" in addition to a pop-up allowing them to cancel the TP (cancellation ability standard for all uses of Recall Friend)

Macro creation looked like this -> /macro TP1 "team Whatever you do $target, don't step into the light!$$powexec_name Recall Friend"
I tried using the "/macro" that CoH/CoV used but doesn't appear that holds true, naming convention is also a little different in STO (using "Power_Exec" instead of "powexec_name"); both were created by Cryptic Studios so I figured the conventions might hold the same

I'm afraid I'm not much help as I've not done much keybinding and macro-ing with STO but I don't think STO supports putting macros as buttons in the power tray, although I think you might be able to bind them to a keystroke instead.

Check out the Keybind application here.

It has saved me a lot of time and headaches.
