Can you tell me a good configuration for that ship ?
I'd like it with beam arrays, cause cannons looks to me have been HEAVILY nerfed.

I don't even know if ts a good ship anymore, escorts looks TRIBBLE recently ... bah, cryptic, what have you done ?

i recently retired mine because of pet nerf i used cannons and 1 dual bank and 2 omnibeam arrays. with 2 beam overloads 1,2 and crf2 and csv2 and torp spread 1 it would let me take crystaline cat in 3 place on the advanced setting the reason i switched was with a dleet malestrom t4u i not only got 5 tac but 4 eng consoles and a universal lt commander station but now the tor point defense system is a really cool console and i truly miss the ability to fill the stars with torps.

The armitage works well with beam arrays. I have one that does 37k (still a work in progress).

It will do nicely with all beam arrays, but I enjoyed it more with DBBs up front and turrets in the back (I didn't want any omni beams taking a beam overload away from my DBBs). I normally sloted one BFAW1 with 2 each TT, BO, and APB.

Armitage is an excellent ship, IMO. It's probably my favorite in the game. I fly it on my Engineer main with a cannon set-up and it's a perfect blend of firepower, survivability, maneuverability, and looks.

I ran it with DBBs up front for a while but found I like DHCs better. Beam arrays will work fine if that's what you prefer.

Please, do tell me ... what is your build ?

@Brad: its not only what i prefer (but yeah, I'd prefer beams on fed ships), but what is better: on my ROM ship it seemed to me cannons fired blank

This made 38k with a really good Fleet Support: http://www.stoacademy.com/tools/skillplanner/?build=fhect5u_6112

I built it for the Star Trek Battles Channel, hence the usage of Phasers and a Torp fore and aft. You can change the Torps for more Phaser Beams, which should get you more DPS.
You can further substitute the Lobi Consoles for more +Pla Embassy Consoles, to get more Plasma Fires. In that case you are probably better off using +Beam Locators instead of +Pha, as these boost the Plasma Damage from the Embassy Consoles.

Edit: You may also want to use Scorpion Fighters from the Romulan Reputation as your pets, all the Federation pets are pretty underwhelming, especially since the last pet nerf.

Woah ... it looks great *_*
But tell me: what is the Plasma-Generating Weapons Signal Nullifier Console ? I can't find it ...

PS: star trek battles channel ?
Looks great: I always liked ships with canon equipment : D

It's the [+Pla] science console from the Fleet Embassy. They get this fancy name when you throw them into the upgrade system.
