According to Star Trek Lore, KDF has Tachyon Detection Grid

In Season 5, Episode 1 of Deep Space Nine, at 9:30, Sisko and crew are planning to infiltrate a KDF base.

Sisko:
"There are at least 30 starships stationed there at any given time, and the entire asteroid field is protected by a Tachyon detection grid."

O'brien:
"Which means there's no way we can get a cloaked ship within transporter range."

It is lore. It is canon. KDF have Tachyon detection capability. Since they have the more advanced "grid" it would stand to reason they would have the lower-tech "field" varient as well, especially considering we are many decades in the future from this episode.

Please be true to Star Trek lore and give the KDF the TDF console. Thank you.

There are more lockboxes coming. KDF gets one Fed and one Rom console every time nowadays, so I think it's just a matter of time.

That's not necessarily true. Lately they have been releasing new universal consoles that neither side had before. I hope you're right though.

Which would be fun: Any kdf/rom can use tachyon grid then, but as fed you can only use it on the nebula. Similar to projected singularity works now for roms^^

Because TDF has been one of the few things KDF players actually wanted, it will be the one console that we never get, or only get like right at the end of STO's life.

Something else to consider with the xfaction consoles...they've moved on to the T5 ships. Who knows if they'll be doing any of the subT5 consoles at this point. And yeah, doing the T5 consoles, eh? Meh...
