Bug, Glitch, or Fail?

I'm wondering -

I have never seen this before. I closed the window, and re-opened the window (more than once), I even refreshed the account. But last night while I was on the Exchange, **This happened**.

I am wondering if this is a bug, but also, what was the actual cost? Did the buyer pay a slight discount, and did the seller get the expected result? This isn't even a case of rounding error. Just pure flat math fail.

Has anyone seen this before???

Yes. The number input is the total of all the item's, the other number (of each item cost individually) is a division of the larger number, not a multiplication of the smaller. That causes a number of maths error's on the exchange.
    Chris Robert's on SC:
"You don't have to do something again and again and again repetitive that doesn't have much challange, that's just a general good gameplay thing."

as I see its you that needs a lesson in maths here is how it goes >

the price of the 10 keys is 21,499,994

this works out at 2,149,999.4 per key

as the exchange cant display figures below the full number of 1 it has taken the .4 and rounded it up to 1 this would bring the display figure to 2,150,000

so you get 10 @(at) 2,150,000 EC each

    the lesson ends.

When I think about everything we've been through together,

maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

and if that journey takes a little longer,

so we can do something we all believe in,

I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

Even without accurate rounding it would be 1 less, but I get your point!

Guess cryptic could change that but it would be far nicer to see them get the exchange search bugs ironed out. Thanks for the response

they round up not down so .4 becomes 1 so 2,149,999 + 1 for the .4 becomes 2,150,000
if they rounded down it would become 0 and the display would be 2,149,999

but 10 x 2,149,999 is 21,499,990 at that could cause more confusion.

you think that looks odd just think if someone was selling 10 of something for 1EC you would actually be paying .1 of an EC for each but the exchange would round the .1 up to 1 so the display would say 10 @ 1EC each although all you would pay for the 10 items would be 1EC
