Game won't load

I can't get past the launcher. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I've looked for .hoggs and deleted them. I verified all files after the error report window. I tried logging in from Arc and Steam separately. I ran Malwarebytes just to see if there was a bug interfering with my login. NOTHING. I still get the same error window/report. I'm not sending in any reports because Cryptic won't answer it. Anyway, is there any other way to log into the game or repair the files I just redownloaded? I haven't made any significant changes to this computer since the last time I did the Winter event (about a week ago). I also downloaded the last patch before I hit engage. AND I tried the current launcher. I have no idea what to do of why this is happening.
EDIT: In the event someone actually reads this I've made a pic of the Arc message. The launcher goes into the Cryptic load screen for about 2 seconds and dies. No, I'm not making it up.
EDIT: I tried the workarounds, one by going directly through the GameClient Shortcut, and another by manually opening the launcher and logging again without opening Arc. Neither worked, and for some reason opening the launcher resulted in a 10 gig patch. It patched itself into oblivion whne I redownloaded the game. So yeah. I'm lost.
EDIT: Ya know, now that I think of Oblivion...I think I'd rather play that. Been a while, actually. I have mods to make and unicorns to kill. Beats the hell out of a game that openly despises its players.

My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.
