Breen and Elachi Fighter Pet Opinions

Given the release of the Breen Sarr Theln and Elachi Sheshar, I'd like a little more information on their fighter pets specifically, as I'm considering investing in one or the other as an alternative for my other Fed-related Hangar-capable ships, and the wiki has not yet been updated with their information (for that matter, no further info on their Frigate pets either).
Specifically, I'd like to know if the Elachi Oschu shuttles or Bleth Choas fighters are a viable alternative to Yellowstone runabouts, Scorpion fighters, or Obelisk Swarmers (despite how quickly they blow up, their AP and Transphasics worked well for my builds and as distractions). I know for sure the Oschu shuttles is 4 per hangar vs 6 for the Scorpions and Swarmers. I've no idea how many ships per hangar the Bleth Choas are. As well, I'm not 100% sure if both the Elachi Oschu and Breen Bleth Choas pets usable on any Hangar-capable ship like most other Elite shuttles/fighters.
I ask since I have far more Fleet credit across the essential characters than patience to grind out Elite Scorps or the Rom Rep (though I have already reached Tier 5 on the core characters that will be using these ships as well, this includes future alts who are not as well-established), and was wondering if there was enough pros to the two new pets to warrant their investment. I could potentially see the Elachi Oschu shuttles being worthwhile due to their Elachi Disruptors, and the Breen Bleth Choas fghters for their Polaron proc, but I'd like the opinions of more seasoned and dedicated users of Hangar pets who have access to either/both and potential ideal builds they'd fit well with.
NOTE: I have no specific build in mind that would make full use of them, but I'm looking for some pros/cons to these new hangar pets. They will primarily be serving aboard an Armitage, a Vesta, a Bulwark, a Bastion, and an Adv. Obelisk Carrier.
As to general builds, they are mainly to provide distraction and a little extra DPS, so they're not as super essential, but if it matters, the Bulwark and Bastion are offense-oriented (helmed by a Tac) and the Vesta and Adv. Obelisk are sci-oriented (helmed by a Sci), and the Armitage is used by both as an experimental Torpedo boat.
