just wondering about a feat in the game

why is there a need or greed or pass choices when its up to the system on who gets what i mean if we going to have a dice rolling system in the game why have the buttons there it makes no sense what so ever if the system going to auto assigned you the loot those buttons are a very bad tease there i feel at the end of the day

i like to make a request that feat gets discontinued please

    It is a system that never belonged in STO due to there being no class restrictions on equipment. If Assault Miniguns and Sniper Rifles required Tactical Captains and Advanced Shields required Engineer Captains, then it would make sense for there to be a Need/Greed/Pass system.
