Fastest Game on Ice - Frosted Boots

The frosted boots are awesome. They make everything all slip-slidey even where there's not snow, except on the frozen pond where it turns your sliding into skating, which is all kinds of fun.

So why doesn't it do it on the ice for the race? It would be a lot more fun since it's a lot faster with the boots on, and it gives better control, giving you a reason to invest in them. Similar to the Risan Floaters, you could get by using a rental for the daily stuff, but a bit of an investment made everything a lot easier and much more fun. I feel like the frosted boots are a bit of a missed opportunity.

That's probably your answer right there...

That would be neat, though I am not convinced you'd get better control.

I would already be satisfied if Cryptic added an ice skating activity to the game in addition to the pond. Maybe a parcour or something. Or figure skating?

The boots don't give you that effect on the ice track because the ice track already gives you that effect. :)

I think he wants the ice skate effect from the sea on the ice track.

That is what I was trying to get across, yes.
