perhaps PWE is regressing its position, and cryptic is removing queues, loosen up the grind by a long way, level 51 - 60 content actually gets XP rewards, the old stfs have been fixed and returned and an immediate patch for ww includes less grind on top of a massive bug fixing?
as for the forum, perhaps going to find more volunteers to police the forum, a less authoritarian regime and more purposeful forum, one that includes the devs and community staff being more open with their community instead of antagonizing the issue further?

Sisko forbid they actually overhaul the code to make it more user-friendly and less glitchy, and make the STO forums look like they are maintained in the year 2014 instead of 1998.

Thus, I said theme. Many forums actually offer multiple themes for readers to choose from, usually including at least one "high contrast" schemes for those who have vision issues. I was actually thinking back to earlier in the year when the messed around with the theme and set off a #%&& storm almost as big as the one over DR.

Um, they are going to add Doom threads to the FCT even though in the FCT it is already there, with the statement that they are deliberately keeping that one thread open to keep the trolls from creating others.
Saying this move is foolish would be quite an understatement, because in the process they have shown they have absolutely no knowledge of the forum rules by claiming they are going to create a rule that already exists, showing they were unaware of the rule in the first place.
That is a VERY bad place to be in if you are supposed to be moderating a forum.
