Closing out another year and I am satisfied with the content and people in the KDF faction. Glad that we received some new members and we are glad to have you. The new ships we received are great especially the raptor.
Would be great for a T-6 BoP and science ship. A Commander's over-coat would be nice as well. Enjoy the winter event and have a happy holidays.

The irony is every year except for the ending of 2014 they put up their metrics they want you to see that they can put in a positive light. Since there are no metrics to back them up they put out a blog most likely not even made by the EP stating the game is healthy and growing when its actually on its death bed. Reminds me of a certain dictator who says he can talk to dolphins and his people love it!
And it is words like these resembling a childs tantrum proves your ignorence of the world at large. When any one speaks like this they remain unheard by any one who are willing to help you. With nothing possitive to contribute why should they listen? You are only a customer and one of many. Cryptic gets more and more every day. Customers more than willing to play the game they want to make. To think you should hold some kind of leverage or ownership over property you only use is the kind of arrogance that ruins lives.
The Klingon faction will never reach equallity with the feds. I am very thankful for cryptic finally including us at least. This means they recognize our viability to their bottom line. In short whining and negativity did not get us what we do have today. With cryptic's policy of ignoring all negative messages I blame you and those who act like you for what we don't have. If we maintain our dignity and remain approchable we will do better as a faction. If you keep that hate you hold in your heart why should they work with us at all?

This was not a KDF specific review. In fact all the points in there that where positive are KDF related. The "OMG YES!!! Thank you Cryptic" is directed at the T6 raptor, love it! I am also quite happy with the care Cryptic has finally given the KDF. However that does not detract from the over all state of the game which is no where near as good as it could be.
I very rarely feel like I am playing an actual Star Trek game when playing STO. Oh don't get me wrong there are moments when it actually feels like ST, but for the most part it just feels like a random sci-fi mmo with a Star Trek skin.

Not too different from my own description: It's "Quake" dressed in Star Trek clothes.
I grew up on reruns of ST:TOS in the 1970s. Not every single episode had a fist-fight, handheld phaser shootout, or space battle. They were actually stories about exploring, discovering, learning, and trying to solve problems and mysteries -- which certainly seem like excellent goals to me. If I were a player that wanted a game devoted to fighting, I'd go play "Quake" or one of its many clones.
Go play quake? Lol I didn't know we were still in 1999 :rolleyes:
