Quality of Life Improvement Suggestion - Bank/Mail/Exchange In Old Social Zones

I went to Andoria yesterday to get some discounted Provisions from the cave-dwelling vendor, and yet again I'm struck by the oddity that Andoria and Vulcan have no amenities.

I get it - these old social zones have little (or nothing) to do, but in Andoria's case, there are 3 consoles under a tent, right where you beam down that just scream bank/mail/exchange.

I'd like to suggest that all social zones have the basics (adding at least a bank to zones that lack it (I think Defera)) would be nice too. Not everyone wants to hub out of ESD, and less-used Social Zones might see more use if people had a reason to go there.

If people started going there, perhaps there would be a reason to add missions/things to do on the maps, which could lead to improvements and map updates - a never ending cycle of awesome! :)

I know it's probably been said before, but figure I'd say it again. I can't imagine it would take a huge amount of time to update these areas with 3 consoles each, and would help players out.

    Yeah, I don't know when this was first requested... I've been around a long time but not THAT long. Probably sometime in the pre-launch beta. It'd be nice to have added.

    I agree. Some of the older less used social zones need to have the basics.

    Agreed. It's not much but it is an additional incentive to go there (if you're approaching from the 'south' it would be a shorter flight than Sol).

    I think social zones should be what replaces star clusters. Older ones like those should be updated a little and given more amenities as well as giving each social zone more missions to do, I know Vulcan has that one but they all need more, also, they could add more social zones for that as well, maybe more homeworlds. If they are concerned no one would go to them, if they give people stuff to do, they'll go to them.

    I would love to see them do something with Andoria. It's such a shame that they have this map that you can go visit, but there is zip to do there. I think I have been there twice in the 2 1/2 years I've been playing the game.

    I think Q's winter wonderland should have been set on or accessed from Andoria.

    Agreed! I hate not having access to my Bank.
