external chat on iOS

Anybody got a good app to use ingame chat channels on his iPhone?

I got an app that can do jabber/XMPP but while I can talk to a single person from my fl directly with liek tells I somehow cant get normal (private) channels to work.

Anybody any good tips?

    I don't suppose pidgin has an iOS client?
