Its getting to the point I don't want to view the forums. Empty Q's, hate Delta, DOOM!!! or I don't play anymore. Its the same thing over and over again. The thing is it seems to be the same people that say it. Its drowning out the real game chat. Make a topic in another session called haters! Then put the above in that.

I ran big dig today with a call out on a STF chat channel. We had it almost filled except for a few spots and that was because they only tried call outs for 3 min lol. I also ran NTTE and HGE. Was very easy to run these. Of course I don't pug I do call outs on special channels. These channels have people that enjoy the runs. Its usually 5 min or less to form a run for about anything.

Delta Rising! Yea you hate the REP, You hate the T6, you hate the DILL. Ok we heard you so hush. I have my issues with some of it but I do enjoy it. Quit posting this same stuff over and over again. ENOUGH!

At the present moment, I'm not developing, I'm not employed by a video game developer and I've never had a game published.

I've never been featured in Star Trek magazine, or any MMO website.

I've never released a Beta product.

But what I do know, is that I've been playing video games for many years. And I have every right to speak my mind against the poor game design that is being released on a daily basis. It's absolutely appalling!

All these people think that if you're making the only Star Trek MMO ever that you're making something out of yourself. Well you're making a mockery out of Star Trek!

I'm a Star Trek fan and I come from the underground and I'm ... quite - frankly, I'm sick and tired!
And I'm here to go on these rants on message boards. Because I know I will never amount to anything and I need to make myself feel better.

So when I'm not high on Mountain Dew and Cheetohs, I will sit in front of this computer 'til the cows come home, and continue ranting and raving about game developers that are actually living out their dream 'cause I never will!

special channels were not necessary before DR.

And btw, I guess, people enjoying the game are too busy playing it, as to get to post in the discussions. You will mostly find gamers, that look for a vent for their frustration, because they have enough of to get ignored with their concerns and being lied to over and over.

Remember, the content of an MMORPG are the players.

trying to tell people how to behave because it doesnt fit with you? youre a nobody like everyone else here and im not exception to that, and you cant tell others to behave any more then i can tell you to stop breathing, we are customers here that is all and some get the self-righteous idea that because they spend money they think they have a shot in how its made, it never gets noticed because that person chose to throw money at the screen and never took into account the full risk involved, because of that ignorance i call them "entitlement claims", any claim along those lines i usually poke fun at because of how silly it is to read of them and know nothing will ever come of it.. but i dont tell them to stop but i do however suggest they take a second look at what they plan to do after realizing the naysayer won the round with a clear KO in the first 10 seconds.

eventually enough people will get tired of how business is ran, but i have had no illusions since coming to these forums and read my first stahl post back at the end of 10'. i already knew what to expect because i have seen it before, i wasnt fooled by cryptic the first time and still not fooled by them. yet some people think cryptic can do no wrong and then eventually realize they got burned by the apathetic response that cryptic provided to their fanboys.

you can either put up and just get on with it or you can use that nice door over there, no one is forcing you to stay.

I think they should censor HIM for doing that.

You have only the freedom of speech that is allowed when you are on private property. I said how I feel and by doing so I knew I was not going to be welcomed with cookies and milk;)

Rules like no "I quit" threads are established. I think new rules like "I stopped playing" Or HATE HATE HATE should also be included.

I don't understand the point of them except to screen at the sky. Problem with that is I hate seeing "hearing" it all the time. Maybe I was a little harsh. How about a thread called "Venting" There you can post I quit, I hate, I stopped playing.

I enjoy playing STO but right now I dont log in at all.

So why dont I play sto at the moment?
Because I have nothing to do in game.

Why dont I have anything to do in game?
Because what I enjoy doing is PUGing elite STFs and with the new changes to STFs that is currently not doable.

So why not play normal you ask?
    Because thats frikin boring.

So instead of playing the game im hanging out on the forums and as I dont play at the moment the only thing I have to talk about is how much the STFs have been ruind.

The reason so many people on the forums are complaining right now is Because most of em are in similar situations. If the devs listend to the feedback and fixed the issues with the game people would go back to playing but by all means sweep the problem under the rug. Pretend it dosent exist and see what that does for the games longevity.

Then again who cares if the community is upset as long as you dont have to look at it right?

I don't know the game you were playing.. But I have played this game near daily since 2 weeks before launch. The current STF Q's have always sucked unless it was for a special event like crystal. Starbase 24 was always a pain to get on. So is/was big dig on random Q. I know this because it was always my favorites. For as long as I can remember the only way to fast get on STF's has been the public channels. No Win was good for a while as a pug. But people stopped last year as a pug because it was almost impossible to win in a Q pug. Hell I know! I was not aware last year of the nowin channels and I was trying to Q pug that multiple times a day.

It's merely another "Complainer complaining about complainers that are complaining" thread. Nothing more and everything less.

LOL, there were no STF Queues at launch of STO. No STFs at all until Gamma Orionis Sektor introduction.
Or do you mean DR launch.

And you miss the point again.
Smirk asking for durations till Queues pop (before and after DR) and the answers contradict your claims:

I've been a Paying STO Minion since day one...

I don't, and nor have I ever, publically or privately said I hated the game.
(or the Dev's for that matter)

I'm not so crazy about certain aspects of it, so I tend to avoid them.

And when I hear negative, generalized comments made by those same Devs who run the game, referring to Their paying and non-paying customers in a deleterious manner, I tend to reciprocate in a mocking way in these forums.

Apparently I'm a glutton for punishment, because not only do I still attempt those parts of the game that I don't care for and generally suk at...

But I also come to the forums on a daily basis and read silly nonsense such as the OP of this thread.

There's a very old saying that I have heard since I was a little kid that fits here...

    Opinions are like TRIBBLE-holes...

Your memory is flawed. I used to do the stf's the Big Dig, Klingon Scout Force, Gorn Minefield, Starbase 24 all the time and I only ever pugged and never had to wait for it to start. The Big Dig got changed from a 15 man team into a 20 man team event and people would blaze through it so fast you couldn't get the plants scanned in time. In the scout force you had to wait a long time for the Klingon ships to decloak and the Gorn Minefield got revamped into something less exciting.

OP - I agree that people like me should probably quit whining about the same stuff over and over, and should definitely at least TRY to be more polite while we do it.

But people should always have a right to air their grievances, because that's how many humans deal with frustration. And sometimes, it can affect positive change.

I think a good example would be the Alt-Friendliness of the Special Events, although I may be wrong.
