Given the introduction of the Bluegills, does anyone think much of having less humanoid species like the Choblik from the USS Titan book series as playable character's?

Also, are the Bluegills in-game still mutant Trill, or something different?

    +1 for more "Alien" races

Bluegills if I recall are... SPOILERS >>> genetically engineered Iconian plot devices.

    Mutant Trill? Lol.

The Parasites were never named or explored in canon. Every explanation what they might be is fan fiction / not official. And STO reinvented them for their own purposes, to give us Starship Troopers bugs to shoot (they ven call it "bug hunt").

I'd love to have some non-humanoid Boffs on my crew.
