This post is to make a place for Positive suggestions. Not Complaints without Fixes.
We all know there are a billion bugs in the game, give our ears a rest and give us some new ideas.
Negative posts are not welcome here. infact 90% of the time they are removed anyway, lets not turn this into a flame war, hijack the thread, or use this as your chance to express your false sense of a right to freedom of speech. That said lets get some suggestions out in the air that might be listened too.



1. Add in ability to transfer % of Agro to another player.

This would work similar to alot of abilities in popular mmo's, and should actually make it so we can have designated tanks in pugs.

2. Make the Captain more relevant; For science give us a Offensive boost, perhaps exotic damage, for Engineers maybe a Extra shield penetration + movment speed debuff to all thier attacks, for tacticals give them something more defensive like more evasion.

We all know tactical captains are the preferred because you get cool down reduction and a Damage booster. science just gets to remove buffs and gets a shield heal, and Engineers get a Miracle healing power. Sounds awful Trinity like to me... thing is there is no True trinity action going on in star trek... So anything besides tactical is choosing to gimp their dps a bit.

3. Make science Dps a little bit more effective. Most of our abilities are Total TRIBBLE... Even rank 3 Tachyon beam does NOTHING to enemy shields...especially since they've been buffed. And our other abilities and their cool downs are so long it doesn't even make a dent in the dps chart let alone the enemies they're supposed to be effecting. Point is... EVERYTHING besides gravity well and feedback pulse feels incredibly weak or borderline useless.Taychyon beam being my chief case... even at rank 3, max flow, it does nothing to enemies, expecially since they've been beefed up.

4. Engineering seems Great for buffing things up to the next notch. But engineers "know" the inner workings of a great deal of devices, and thus I think they should inherit some of sciences disables.

5. Tactical Gets a ton of abilities that are both offensive and defensive. I have No complaints here. Perhaps They need some more "Team" buffs, perhaps something like giving their attacks the ability to blow off the shields of the enemy resulting in a minor shield hardness buff to team mates within 5km, or perhaps shared tactical data between team members allows a stacking bonus to team mates and their resistances + critical severity (not a self buff)

6. Add in weapon Enhancements...(like weapon enchantments in other games) perhaps graviton infusers that cause enemies to gravitate towards one another. or Nanite Reconstructors with a % chance after every enemy destroyed to drop a random turret by using the scrap material from the destroyed ship, or Plasma exciters that have a % chance to sprout a leak on enemy's nacells decreasing ship turn rate and speed slightly but adding a hazard to the field that may damage enemy ships/slow their speed and turn rate as well.

7. Make pvp relevant. You can do this using The existing system. perhaps a Arena based ranking system, With seasonal rewards to the top ranks.

8. Bring back some sort of hourly system. Perhaps a double reward for completing old missions, exploring X amount of systems and doing those patrols, Crafting Hour, or whatever.

9. Add in random "world bosses" or "rare" encounters that appear in off the wall sectors that drop wierd loot, Lobi, off the wall items like vanity pets/holo projectors etc

10. Random events while flying around, like a Hirogen hunting party stumbles upon you, or a temporal incursion happens and a Fleet of mirror universe ships are after you, or Tholians Try to harvest your ship for its technology or records, Borg try to assimilate you, SPACE pirates... or here's a WILD off the beaten path idea... how about a uncharted planet, or rogue planet encounter, or even a piloting test such as navigating sub space eddies, or encountering a real Race event...

Basically I'd like LIFE to be added into the star trek Sector space... instead of 300 ships parking in orbit day in , day out, and queuing... give us a reason to get out there and explore.
Make us fall in love with the game again.

And yeah I'd love some more abilities to rock, and more utility to get past the harder missions, and for a captains profession to be more relevant.
