I'm back once again with more questions! This time around, I'm not looking for a definitive answer as much, as I get the sense that people's choice for such things tends to be based on their builds their going for, and even just personal choice.
So, how about it? What deflector, engines, and shields do you guys prefer to use, for what sort of builds, and why?
As for me, in case peeps or curious or would be willing to lend some further advice, I currently use the Counter-Command Deflector Array (it seemed to have a decent balance between defensive and offensive stat boosts, though it skews a bit too much toward torpedo and exotic damage), the Romulan Advanced Prototype Impulse Engines (mainly for the boost to Attack Patterns), and the Romulan Prototype Covariant Shield Array (mainly to experiment with the two piece bonus I get from this and the Romulan engines, and the capacity boost proc seemed kind of nice, too.)
I had been trying to make a cannons and plasma torpedo build work for me (hence the emphasis on boosting torpedo performance with the Counter-Command Deflector and the two set bonus from the Romulan Prototype gear), but I've recently decided to give a BFAW build a try. I've seen a couple people that use BFAW builds make use of the Nukara Deflector and Nukara shield, maybe for the flat weapon bonus the two set gives? Both seem pretty decent for defense purposes as well. I also really want to get the Delta Alliance Deflector at some point, with it's ridiculously high defense bonuses, just to have around in case I need to make myself especially tanky.
So about everyone else?

Jem Hadar boosts survivability and Polaron damage
