everything...... i just realized i dont have the technical know-how to create my own game
Knowing how something works is not a prerequisite to offering good feedback on it. You can walk into a restaurant and say that the food sucks without being a cook.
- customization for ships, captains and boffs (even if i would like to have the outfit merged with uniform)
- missions: they are very good until DR, past DR there are at least 4 very good missions
- social zones: new romulus, nimbus, k7, drozana, ganalda
- the simplicity of the game, no need to be an expert to enjoy it (oh! well it was before DR)
- the job done by the artists
- star trek
- rep system was good until DR, now it is almost a waste of time and too difficult to earn BNP, or the other stuff
i dislike:
- all DR, except 4 missions
- grindfest
- new OP skills
- upgrade system poorly done and too expensive when you are not a whale
- rep items still MK XII, they should be upgraded for free at MK XIII (these items are expensive and we have already bought them) and the new items should be MK XIII not MK XII
- more drops, MK XIII items (purple), MK XIV must be obtainable only with the upgrade system (for Cryptic's wallet)
- patrol missions <- i hate
- the stfs revamped and only for a minority
- less friendly
- the jenolan sphere, cold like this game at its current status
- the T6 ships, a good idea but badly done; the starship traits are ridiculous
When my /played says 111 days online how can I say differently. I'm sure there are many others here in the same boat.
I can't think of any other game that is space, and ground, and f2p. That combination alone deserves respect. Most other game companies say "oh lets make frolicking elves like that other massively successful MMO and copy them." Cryptic didn't do that.
The customization, depth, challenge, and stories are hard to beat in any category let alone all of them.
Are there blemishes? Sure, same issues any f2p mmo has.
