Who took the only power that made roms and kdf viable characters in pvp and nerfed it to oblivion.

This is worse than hull repairing nanites. If the devs would pull their head out of dev land and see what is actualy going on in the game they would stop making more and more misteaks. So now what, if I want to survive I remake this character as a fed? Get all those ships? Do all that trash? No how about we just cut funds from me entierly.
Getting rid of the other two factions / removing those who wont P2W as a fed is not a good marketing strategy.
Devs figure it out before you ruin this game even more. Have you looked at the amount of players on every week? The number only goes down and hasent come up. I hope this winter event was worth your time over fixes, fleet intel ships (promissed how long ago?) and paying attention to whats broken.

Surgical Strikes (the fahet can use it under cloak for gods sake)
My options now are clear: leave, only fly a cloaker, or be come fed. While I dont want to leave and it is my last choice dont you think after seeing many leave, say they are going to, and still make the same mistake youd figure it out eventually?

Incentive to grind Delta rep just went down down down. Personally didn't think this needed adjusting. And yeah considering you have some real OP shizzle in the game at the moment - Neutronic Torp / Surgical Strike to name a few...

What would have healed me 400-500k easily before did 33k
400 -> 33, this is a big drop and as a matter of fact, the hullrepairing nanites would easily out heal this on my ESCORT. This is literaly half of its hull, not even worth keeping if the match lasted 9 minutes (thank you pve pugs, knew i could count on your 1 k dps to keep this going on for better results).
So the average player cant do damage, or take a hit, yet we find a reason to continuously nerf things that aid in this.
But oh not intel, not the big P2W abilities. Ive been defending them saying they are "avoidable" yah but when everyone has them its bad. Cant escape from 100% dissable time cant do anything, and now i cant get a free heal.
Whats next? Do you want me to give you my assimilated set too? Aegis would be more P2W now wouldnt it?

If they felt it was healing too much, haven't they ever heard of a minor change? Change the lockout to 20, or SLIGHTLY reduce the healing per tick...what you don't want to do is increase a lockout AND gut an ability. It's worthless now, and it's going off my ship. It doesn't stop me from getting killed with 100% shields up, so it's worthless. You just forced everyone back into hull tanking and not shield tanking...thanks for making me waste all that dilithium on upgrading. Don't worry though, I won't be buying any dilithium with zen to change my setup. I'll just be content with sucking and dying over and over like 99.8% of the population seems to be. I'll still do more dps than them if I die 10 times in a single match.

This game is not overly complicated to master...if I've surpassed you in dps during that time, then that's your fault. I do my PVP in the game...not on the forums. If you spent as much time learning game mechanics as you do slinging personal attacks at your betters on the forums, then maybe you'd be good at the game.

They could have applied a limit/diminishing returns to it...and addressed some of the outlier issues on the one end; while also setting a minimum on the other end - instead of doing what they did...meh.

But I suspect its just the ol' "pull the carrot from the stick" trick, since right now the metrics told them that most players did the delta rep grind thus its not nedded anymore.
And I exspect Intel stuff to be nerfed too. But not soon enuf until the metrics tell that players had grinded it too. The carrot still need to be up on the stick lol. Probably in a month or two. And stuff like surgical strikes will only give +5% crit and acc at start and +15% at higher lvl, lower then the starting lvl right now and it wont be even worth bothering to lvl up the intel spec for tier 3 skills.
Altho sooner we may see an increase in efectivness on upgrading consoles to mk XIII and MKXIV (spire ones included), since I doubt the weapon increase had any succes in making ppl upgrade their stuff. It will be followed by rage: "Noo Cryptic, WTF, even moar crit and dmg, it screws up the game". Then it will came the nerf of the intel stuff, so "Crpytic listens to players feedback":rolleyes:, but pretty much, if you look at the big picture, things will be the same, since buffs and nerfs will cancel each other.
Oh. Is that why my Assimilated 2 piece set is not doing much now? I thought I was just getting bad proc luck. Turns out I was getting procs and it didn't matter cuz... well... It just got shot away in the next hit. LOL almost no incentive to use the assimilated set now, cept it still gives nice power bonuses and it looks cool...

Ive been doing some thinking, but rigth now, this power does what 1.5k hull healed every 20 seconds? Not realy that great.
On my 87k hull cruiser, the hull repair nanites do 871.5 hull every 3 seconds.
If you look at this in minutes:
For every 1 minute:
Reactive: 12k hull restored per minute
Hull Repair Nanites: 17,430 hull (on my average hulled cruiser)
Now for an escort, the hull repair will be less, but for one of those 110k hulled tanks, it is even more.
Shouldnt a new power that came with a season that has a very high damage focus be better than an old, passive heal?
Reactive can keep its 20 second cd, thats ok, and it doesnt need to be 1.7k hull per second like before, though that was a decent number for anyone who is not playing federation (again, they get a ton of free heals from starship traits, yet romulan and kdf get none)
Set the reactive to 1.5k every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. That gives it a 50% up time, a window to shoot through so it cant be called op. It as well allows other factions to keep up to par with the federation characters.
This is a big draw back for PvP, where if you want to be the best tank, you theoretically want to be in a federation ship.
I myself just stoped leveling more characters after this nerf, because all of my good gear is on romulans. Why would i level my romulan healer when the feds have such a huge advantage?
You know, they may have nerfed that due to people abusing it. Honestly more often than not in PvP and in PvE, people were going in with Fleet/MACO Shields and borg 2 piece. Great shield tank, with a good chance of there being a massive OH **** OH **** OH *** HUGE hull heal.
This greatly reminds me of when the devs removed the Assimilated Module from the assimilated set. Good-bye 2 piece MACO 2 piece Borg lol...
The devs are always saying they want to increase in game variety... this may have been a not so subtle message to us to change our builds...

So I take it Viral Torpedo has a 18 second duration disable...I mean it has to since it only launches one every 20 seconds.
