I think the only important power there might be EmergencyPower to Shields. Losing shields for 3 seconds can be bad. Losing weapons (on a science vessel especially? Ha!), engines or even aux is not that serious considering how quickly it comes back.
But usually even the 3 seconds of shields offline isn't all that harmful. Especially since it happens 20 seconds after you probably kicked some a*s and blew some enemies up.

sorry to be blunt but you are using it wrong or your set up isn't very good, I'm using this on my Fed Tac and it ROCKS! its a tank with mod DPS that holds it own.

Sorry to be blunt, but it really *does* suck. No biggie, though, far as I'm concerned, I simply bought a 3,500 Zen Interior.
Did you just buy the pathfinder for 3000 zen or are you one of the unlucky ones who bought the intrepid, a fleet ship module and then the T5-U upgrade, only to find out 2 weeks later that you might as well have flung your cash down the sewer because they just came up with a new Intrepid for no reason?
I count myself as one of those unlucky ones. At least I hadn't spent the fleet modules to buy the T5 fleet version. But I did get quadruple dipped by Cryptic/PWE in my purchases.
Aside from enjoying various ships, including the Fleet T5-U Rhode Island, I really enjoy the Pathfinder.
Admittedly, I reskinned the ship yesterday into an Intrepid with the Upgrade skin. I like the U.S.S. Voyager look.
One of my FED SCI toon (lvl 57) has been flying in Undine space battlezone sorties as of late with the Pathfinder. No fleet consoles yet, but I am using corrosive plasma (mk XI and XII) beams and LIKING the ship.
It's not made of paper, like the Dauntless. (Which does improve once the ship level increases.)
But I hear you, OP. You're voicing your dislike; that's cool. Some of us are enjoying the ship, though. I don't regret the purchase (yet).
