European Time from 19:00 and up... randomly you cant play at all. Disconnects.. heavy laggs..
and this nearly every day.
The fun is.. its complete random. In our fleet at one day i have laggs.. no one else.. or everyone has laggs... or 2.
Complete different ISPs.. locations.. Connection types but we all have it.
It also has nothin to do with ISP or PC or something. Its just the servers. nothin else.
Well... they want money. Then make it possible to play in main time. Else.. no money.
Lot of people left and dont play atm cause it is luck if you dont get laggs like hell at later hours.
This startet with DR and it did not got better in any way until now.
Thanks for the events and stuff that helps no one... if he is not able to play.
I haven't been having any problems.
You realize there's thousands of miles between you and the servers, the problem could be anywhere in between.
If it was the servers, it would most likely be affecting everyone, not just some people.
Can't say I've suffered any Disconnections and all "Latency" has been from the ridiculous amount of Alpha Blend Overdraw that happens in the Delta Systems, because that is destroying framerate on all of my PCs ... for some it doesn't affect playability but others that are running at 900p30 they instantly become unplayable until I drop to 720p30/60
So playing 'on the go' means avoiding the Delta Region as the UI still doesn't exactly scale well to the lower resolutions. (pro-tip Cryptic don't design a UI for a high resolution then scale down, design it for a low-resolution and scale up with higher resolution assets for scaling purposes)
Still as far as the Disconnects go, as I said it hasn't affect me with Star Trek Online. However there is a distinct possibility that this has something to do with the massive increase in DDoS attacks that began a month ago (that just coincide with the DR release) rather than Star Trek Online itself.
There is some TRIBBLE 'internet protest' going on over Net Neutrality, and is especially bad here in Europe; so there is a chance this could actually be the root cause. I'd strongly suggest running Tracer Pings to the STO Servers as they should show any problems between you and where they're located (East Coast US)
If the problem persists, then submit a report in the Technical Problem forum; as Cryptic will likely want to investigate this issue.
Agreed. My connection quality to STO is abysmal at certain times of day. The game is totally unplayable. My connection to everywhere else on the internet is perfect, so it leads me to suspect there's something TRIBBLE up with the STO server.

Its impossible to play anything during this time.
the netgraph shows ping spikes every few seconds and from time to time freezes at a ping of +3000
btw the forum is also slow, i guess than it uses the same server
