Winter Wonderland?

I wonder why they have not announce danything about the winter wonderland becuase it is already December 1st yet ther eis no word of winter wonderland. This is very strange and I wonder if they are doing the wonderland this year. Usally by now they are already talknig about it and what they are going to add. Does this seem strange to anyone else?

    Winter Event will start on the 4th, according to the Ingame-Calender ... as far as DEV-Blogs etc go, even with last years standards you shouldn't expect something until later today ... given recent Blogs, though ... you'll probably get some Copy-Paste from last years Dev-Blog on Wednesday the 3rd ...

    Most likly correct but the past few years they announced it early such as late late december.

    Yeah, it seems someone there wants us to hear about changes only at the last minute.

    Maybe the new community/marketing head or whatever doesn't believe in hyping things?

    Winter Wonderland is my favorite event of the year. I just really really want to get out my snowball machine gun and my gumball shotgun. May as well use 1 of my coal. I wish they may add some kind of skiing event/race where you can either ski or snowboard.

    It would be nice to see some information ahead of time. But as long as the surprises aren't the bad kind when it goes live, I can live with it.

    I dont think that we will get posts a head of time. Seems that Cryptic don't like to give use much advance notice right now. Guess you got wait till the patch notes come out.

    The devs are probably still suffering from a hangover and heartburn after the thanksgiving extravaganzas. Expect info later today.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Any one know if they'll be doing the Risian discount with the Breen ships?

    it is one run (40pics per run) for cruiser and the raider if it is, but there was no mention of it yet, still no info on if the Risian Discount method will happen or not, we still gotta wait and see.

    I love Winter Wonderland, for some reason never been interested in Risa.
    I will be there, "Big One" in hand :P ready to fight the snowman overlord and generally get away from the standard grind, even if it is for another mini-grind, I enjoy the Breen ships and indeed the event, (aside from the incessant NPC yelling lol!).
    Had some good times there last year and look forward to it again this year.

    I actually agree. I don't usually bother grinding for the ship and if it's still the same race to get it I won't be bothering again.

    I hope they kept in all the voiceovers as they really add to the festive atmosphere.
