Unlocking Cardassian Struggle line?

Hi all,

I'm looking to get the Jem'Hadar BOff from the Cardassian Struggle series, as I need Torpedo: Spread III. Unfortunately, my Tovan Khev must've had it trained off by accident. So much to do after returning from years away!

My problem is that all of the Cardassian Struggle missions are locked out for me. The hail and skip buttons are both grayed out. I'm level 51, so I do qualify for everything save non-Romulan missions. Any ideas?

I was only able to find one post about this on Google. Thet figured it out ... but didn't say how. Gah!

    Venture into Deep Space is locked out for you as well? You have to do that to unlock the ability to skip/hail the rest.

    Yes, that mission is also locked out. The entirety of the Cardassian Struggle series, from beginning to end.

    Okay, so I didn't figure out the problem with the mission series, but I did figure out a solution ...

    ... And I'll be courteous enough to tell you what it was. ;) As a 700 day veteran, I was able to get an android tactical officer at Earth Spacedock. It was able to train Tovan Khev so that he now has Torpedo Spread III. Problem solved!

    Hrmm, are the previous Episode arcs greyed out as well? Is there a point at which you do have the hail/skip/transwarp option? I've got a 53 toon that leveled just via DOFFing, and I can skip up through needing to hit up Nimbus for the Wasteland arc. Speaking to Horace then lets me skip ahead to where Venture into Deep Space lights up the Hail button (no skip option, there are certain things at the start of an arc that are required).

    As for the BOFF ability, TS3 is one that can be found on the Exchange. No idea what the going price is - it's one of those things where sometimes folks try to prey on folks that don't know about the free BOFF or sometimes they're just as cheap as any other.

    What was the last main story mission you completed?

    The Cardassian Struggle story arc does not open up until you have completed the Spectres story arc. The last mission in that arc is Night of the Comet.
