Thoughts on the Tribble BZ DIL Nerf

The game is becoming more and more questionable with each new patch. The next one is almost certainly going to cut rewards from the Dyson BZ. That was one of the last reliable ways to obtain DIL left. It wasn't as great as the days when we made 1440 per STF, but it was still workable.

It seems to me that they are not balancing the number of DIL sinks in game to the number of actual resources available. The obvious reason is greed. We buy DIL, they make money. But less obviously...what the hell is possessing them? This attitude is slowly destroying the game. It HAS destroyed it for many.

At the risk of making a doom thread, I'm saying it. This game is going to either go zombie or die (or unceremoniously both) sooner than we originally thought. Seriously. This money grubbing ****-the-player attitude has become impossible to ignore. When was the last time they gave us a worthwhile resource that wasn't nerfed? Forcing the purchase of game currency really doesn't bode well in the Western market. After all the raging and profit losses, you'd think they'd AT LEAST try to make their tactics more western-friendly.

I know I'm not saying anything new. Just curious of how many people are in agreement.
My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.

    lol well when it stops being fun I will stop playing. I will leave them to design their game the way they see fit. If I dont like it i just wont login anymore, but I dont know if the continuous threats about quitting or whatever will help the "cause". Its mostly like the boy who cried wolf. People are constantly saying its "bad" and they are quitting, but they still keep on playing and coming.

    So predict away it is not even relevant to whether your predictions come true or not at this point the fact of the matter is this type of "omg its gonna kill the game" constantly gives less weight to the issues.

    Anyhow i get my dilithium for all over the map. I run dyson once and awhile and then i go to undine and now the kobali zone. I make my rounds plus now we have an extra line of mark handins for dilithium so the sources of dilithium have increased when they added the new content.

    Lemme guess, they found new 'anomalous numbers' to justify the nerf, right?!

    There isn't ANY explaination. It's just in there.

    I get Dil all over the place. So its not like I only go to one place just for Dil. Even doing the STF for 1400 dil is small amount compared to what I'm getting now. Plus only time I really use dil now is for some Rep gear, or saving up for upgrades. Its not like I have a lot on me anymore like I used to. Since they killed the Dil store, and the Dil exchange is way too costly at this time.

    Does anyone have the actual figures or is this based on the Tribble patch notes? I only ask because there's no mention of reducing Dilithium payouts in the notes.

    Good, I've been saying since the ground BZ opened that we had a problem with AFK bot taggers in the place, nerfing the rewards will make it harder for them to get easy dil, that way they will find it harder to use our Zen to finance their con jobs.

    Borg STF Reward
    • 960(dil reward) + 500(50 converted marks) = 1460
    • also usually get a BNP which is 1/3 of 1000 dil
    • And usually get enough marks to do another 500 converted dil

    It's not difficult to make dil in other ways.

    As for battlezone, if they do end up nerfing dil, is that really a surprise, you can get your daily dil in about 30 mins there.

    Will I be disappointed if they nerf BZ dil rewards? Of Course I will, will I be surprised? No.
