Undine does not spawn during the Defend the Orb stage in Undine Infiltration.
Sorry but just boosting XP in Delta Quadrant while maintaining the massive unjustified XP nerf everywhere else is not going to make people like Delta Rising or make patrols posing as storyline popular.
Personally, this XP boost makes me even more cynical about Delta Rising. If you were truly interested in making it enjoyable, you wouldn't be trying to make the rest of the game unenjoyable to try to force DR onto everyone like this.

That's at least the second time you try to fix Mudd. I wonder if it's successful this time.
Doubled the amount of rewarded Skill Points for all Delta Quadrant patrol missions.
All Delta Quadrant missions reward 10 Delta Marks instead of 5.
Updated the Parein Patrol rewards to give out loot since it is a disable all enemies instead of defeat all enemies mission.
I presume the 'doubled' part is just the completion reward for a given patrol. That, while being nice, is nowhere near unmaking the xp nerf from last thursday. Not even for those Delta patrols. Argala should now reward roughly twice the xp as before the nerf (prior: over 4k xp from NPCs, 900 xp for completion; after this patch, supposedly: same over 4k xp from NPCs, 2x2400 xp for completion), while the xp needed for leveling stays at nearly 3 times boosted.
Of course I'll have to see and confirm this.
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class. Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider. Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

Nods. I am still not replaying DR episodes and I grown tired of the DQ quadrants anyway.
Um...okay, it's only been a couple of days that I've been over doing the Swordsman thing...Epic/Ultra Rare DOFFs?
I am just as confused as you are, and I have been playing for a few hours each day all week.... Can somebody please shed some light on this?
They say time is the fire in which we burn. Right now, Captain, my time is running out. We leave so many things unfinished in our lives... I know you understand.
Orendal will be fastest, least shooting and most XP/Min if it is indeed the end reward that has doubled.
thats debatable. ive done garren in a minute forty seven, orendal is vs hierarchy, the npcs most skilled at drawing out a fight, plus you have to scan things in orendal, and that runs out the clock. you have a whole army of npcs that help in garren, at least at first. somehow cryptic programs them to dwindle the more you do the mission, down to 2. still real easy to kill the npc groups right as they spawn with the right build.

The problem isn't the mission rewards.. it's the XP from critter kills not being brought up to an appropriate level. What are you doing about critter kill XP?
Um...okay, it's only been a couple of days that I've been over doing the Swordsman thing...Epic/Ultra Rare DOFFs?
Haven't played the DR episodes have we eh? One of them rewards an Epic-quality doff (the only Epic Doff in STO) but up until this patch it was being treated as a Common in terms of calculating assignment rewards. As for Ultra Rare, there are none yet, but Cryptic is future-proofing the system by adding proper reward modifiers to assignments to take UR into account if they add any at a later time.
Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.
see you all at gerran then. can be done fastest if you got good deeps. dont know why cryptic is so keen on bogarting reasonable xp from kills.
Because the levels past 60 aren't supposed to act a as long term secondary way to advance a character, if every could grind them out in a weekend that would defeat the point.
That is one of the thigns that amuse me so much about the forums. Players asked for alternate progression at level cap, Cryptic provided the upgrade system and the new skills systems, players then complain they can't complete these new alternate upgrade paths quickly and cheaply.
All that said, I will agree that leveling to 60 should have been smoother with less need to grind between story and patrol bits.

Just tested this on tribble and one run in Argala on Advanced rewarded 23718 points.. the critters were double XP aswell... Cruiser gave 679 points, carrier gave 890....... toon was level 60

Stop grouping all players together. Tom asking for something doesn't mean that Jerry asked for it as well...people can have different opinions on things, want different things, etc, etc, etc.
Folks making the comment like you did there...is definitely one of the things that amuse me so much about forums and life in general...

you act like the road to completing the alternate progression is reasonable. the same highest pay out patrols need to be done thousands of times, there's is no real alternative. there is no rewarding experience for dragging that out 1/10 as long, its done more to drive players away then sitting around at end game having unlocked everything. for those smart enough, there's pvp for a good reason to have done all that grinding in the first place.
leveling being a rewarding experience is a farce, and i though cryptic knew that, the way anything before 50 was blown through so easily, and acted more like an extended tutorial, wile the game actually began at level 50. but all the progress that was made moving away from the archaic leveling concept was undone with the expansion, so now it maters more then anything else. and it will kill this game once and for all.
while increasing the xp in the delta patrols is a nice gesture, NOT having the crippling FPS fall off that makes them unplayable would be a welcome addition to it.
won't run these again till the problem is addressed, don't know how you measure that in your metrics,
but it's the exact reason i don't even bother with them and will level via other means, even if it is slower.
shame you guys put all that hard work into these and some players can't even try to enjoy the story since the FPS on the maps is so awful, making it pretty isn't worth making it unplayable.
If I hadn't already spent too many hours on Tribble poking at the R&D system this afternoon I'd hop on and give this a whirl but as it is, I'll have to put this off until later.

I am hoping this is a typo and it means "shirts" - because that has been annoying me for months. The best-looking Romulan jackets are basically unusable right now because of the hideous clipping on the neck.

I suspect something similar. It makes sense - of course the people that don't like the changes are more likely to come to the forums to complain then people that like the changes are likely to come to the forums to praise. And then people on the forums think that they are speakers of a majority, because they are a majority on the forums.

Yeah, I hope so too, although the Republic 2 undershirt has grown on me. Switched over to that because I was so sick of the clipping on 1.
I for one am happy that the exp got boosted on patrols. Before the exp change they were boring, but at least gave a reasonable exp gain. After the exp change I pretty much stopped doing them altogether and just got my exp from doffing only.
My overall playtime dropped from ~2 hours a day to 1 hour of farming doff missions and a bit of R&D. Maybe I'll have more reason to play again now that we can get a bit more expf or our playtime.
But in all seriousness, why adjust only patrol experience? Why not queued PvE missions? In other threads, other players have quoted past Holodeck patch notes that stated that all queued missions should award 8,000 - 16,000 skill points (this is before Nov. 20).
There are other problems with the queued missions, but even Normal difficulty queued missions may have some relevancy if they awarded skill points and give players noticeable progression.
I'm curious, what was wrong with the pre-Delta Rising XP gain values?
I was quite happy with being able to run an Episode, and gain almost a full level, move onto the next episode and gain another full level etc. There's enough grindy MMOs out there, without forcing STO into the same behavior. STO is grindy enough as it is with 5 distinct Reputation tracks to complete, as well as the Ship Specialization grind, and the Player Specialization grind.

The Kobali rifle doesn't get a unique icon?

If this is true, I will forgive much.
Mudd just doesn't know when to give up. :P
And how about the issue of Unimatrix ships not spawning?
The problem isn't the mission rewards.. it's the XP from critter kills not being brought up to an appropriate level. What are you doing about critter kill XP?
Character art team smashing bugs as per usual.
The Kobali crossbow rifle already got a unique icon 1-4 patches ago. The other weapons are finally catching up to it.

No thank you
Exactly what options were removed? What option left intact? Will my toon switch race, gender, etc. after patch - and how?
There are few unique DOFFs, like the EMH Mk1, that have been classified as "Epic" - but they acted like white common doffs.
There is no new tier of DOFFs regularly available via grind or whatever.
