Boost kill xp pls

Boost the kill xp by the factor of 10 and all is good. We could spread out and actually grind mobs on Kobali or Big Dig or elsewhere. Right now Argala and Borg Battlefield are the only effective places to grind up xp "reasonably". Your job is to make money with the game by delivering a good gaming experience.
This is currently not the case. The new content was very cool, thx for that. You have invested a lot of resources into making it but Kobali Prime is already deserted. If i was the artist who created that new planet i would burst in tears seeing it largely abandoned after people are done with their ground tasks there. If kill xp would be greater people would actually stay there a bit longer. People are so busy doing the slow xp grind that they can't focus on doing something else. You're probably gonna miss the christmas sales of ships and whatnot due to the fact that people are still busy leveling, just a guess.
I for one can't buy a new ship because i don't have time to play scenarios that require a better ship until sometime next year. Leveling is my number one priority right now, but it doesn't get you (Crypric) any further and actually postpones your income. When people can finally focus on the game again that might change. I don't know if that's true for the majority of players but for me it is. I want my toons to be 60 for just one reason, to qualify for new content which likely requires lvl 60.

    I think "old" queued mission like big dig, SB24 etc... should be revamped as XP mission, like Mirror Universe once was.
    The daily dil reward is good, but there are not much incentive to play them otherwise. And even then, just do a bit of Dyson BG, and you'll earn dil much faster.
    As for being loot mission, since the loot price nerf, it's not really interesting either.

    Also, I agree kill xp from ground mob should be higher (5xp for killing a mob is ridiculous). But since STO is a game, it was always like that. Don't know why.

    Listen to the OP Cryptic for he speaks wisdom. After i have invested almost 3 years into STO it is really sad to see the game in this state. A 10x kill XP boost would solve half of our problems.

    Got to agree. The XP thing needs to be seriously looked at. And Kobali Prime, the way they talked it up I thought the rewards would be on a level equivalent to the Voth zone (ancient power cells, dilithium, and marks)

    The Kobali Ground Zone must have taken ages to get right. It has fun side missions and a great layout.

    It's a shame some fool nerfed the XP payouts into oblivion.

    i think the old queues "big dig", "sb24", and so on should be reworked as battle zones, as they are not starting at all now

    plus, killing a ground opponent should award at least 1/3 of the xp you get for a ship in space.

    I agree wholeheartedly, kobali prime is fun but I am not sticking around for 5XP a kill and kitchen scraps for dilithium.

    It is an awful waste to see it used so little. I had planned on grinding the new rep there, but I have not been back after seing the complete lack of rewards. I feel like I could slaughter the whole planet and get less than 1,000 XP for it.

    They need to revise the XP for killing mobs that are actually lower than you in zones where you are auto leveled to a fixed level.

    If I am 60 and enter a zone where I am auto leveled to 50... fighting and killing mobs L50... I should be getting full xp as IF I was 50.

    It is BS where you are de-leveled and yet get 0 for time spent in zone.

    Keep speaking your mind, hopefully eventually these guys will get the message that these nerfs suck and are killing this game.

    Genius! :)

    Please make it so.

    Make them open Zones just like Ker'rat (minus the PvP) where I can just hop in, do the escalating objectives and leave whenever I want.
    I don't see a single reason why they need to be queues at all.

    Its clearly not a priority to make any changes here. They are testing to see how much we will all suck up. They will make it as grind heavy as they can get away with. PWE is looking to spend less and return more so they can spend there profits making annoying mobile games.

    The only real option at this point it to simply stop playing for awhile. We don't need to revolt on the forums we need to revolt by not even bothering to patch for a month or two. I would love to be able to play STO... right now the amount of grind and greed is just to high to reward with any of my $. I suggest you find a good alt game for awhile. On the bright side there... there are new expansions for Wow / TOR / EVE / RIFT... Archage is shiny new and in less then a month Elite Dangerous launches. Don't just vote with your wallet not buying zen... don't even play STO until Cryptic can prove they have the common sense to explain to there Overlord that the NA market will not suck up a grind fest in the same way the sheep at home will.

    Boost the kill xp by the factor of 10 and all is good.
    Considering it takes 150-200 ground elite runs to get the xp for a single skill point, that would be actually ok.
