Anyone else have a problem with disconnects from STO tonight? Been logging in and getting disconnected after about 5-10 mins. Has happened several times. Seems like the server is being screwy.

Just since the launch of DR...

here's the thing tho - it's not universal; that is to say, it isn't affecting everyone equally. Those who aren't experiencing it will demand it is either A: your equipment or B: your ISP.

The problem is, A: if like me, it never happened before the new expansion and B: it's happening too far and too wide to merely be your computer or carrier.

Indeed.

However, one can not deny that these “spotty disconnects” have been exacerbated somehow with the release of DR. I know the new Delta Quad is more graphic FX intense before, causing a significant drain on par (or sub par) video cards, mem leaks, etc.

But the DCs are at an all-time high, again coincidentally spiking after the release of DR. So although I, too, suggest you check your system and connection, don’t be surprised if the real cause is something else.
