Is Borg Disconnected Advanced even possible to complete? I've just ran the mission with a team of fleet mates and despite us saving *every* ship seconds after it spawned we still weren't able to get past round 2 before the timer ran out. Ships just didn't spawn fast enough!
Is it random? Is there a trick to getting more ships to spawn??
first, second, and third waves, best bet is to have at least one person tanking (drawing attention away from the other person) while second person frees the ships, another good move to have is hazard emitters, to cure the plasma DoT so you can free ships.
another good bet is the tank is sci, repulsers and gravity well , unless you got 2 focus firing beamlords or escorts muscling down the mobs, this is usually what i was doing personally (the 2 dps thing) but seen the RB+GW work also
last fight
(If they have not messed it up this last update nerf grenade spree)
CAN fail and still complete the mission (the Voth, Borg, Undine dreadnaughts)
What's the secret? Is there a way to make the Cooperative ships spawn faster?
The cooperative ships spawn as soon as one is liberated, although with a minimum timer.
BD Advanced is possible. I had a lucky PUG for BDA prior to the latest difficulty adjustment.
The trick is usually 1 person who grabs the aggro and one who sneaks in, not unlike the optimal strategy for Mirror Universe Invasion.
Some potent Crowd Control is advisable as well.
Having said that, it is still a challenge if you don't have a good team and if it is purely Delta Marks you want and not the ancient power cells then I'd advice the Borg Disconnect on normal.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
There seems to be a bug where the left side (from spawn, not sure what direction it is on the minimap) sometimes doesn't spawn Borg to liberate. I've only seen it two times out of all my runs, on Normal, but I've heard of it happening to others too.
One trick I can offer; if you've worked your way up a bit in the Pilot specialization track, you have a power called "Rock n Roll" which makes you unhittable for a second or two. LONG ENOUGH for you to free a coop ship even while under heavy fire. And you can use it about once per minute.

Hehe, that won't help. We're not struggling to free ships when they appear. We're struggling to get more than 13 ships to spawn in wave two before the timer runs out. I'm seeing gaps of nearly a minute between spawns.
A trick I use from time to time is saving ships for the next round.
Spawn order I believe is this:
1 probe
2 probes
3 probes
1 sphere
2 spheres
1 cube (repeats until mission ends)
And this happens at all three areas.
So with good coordination you can control what spawns when.
If you have 3 probes spaning, your team mates have already saved enough ships to fill the required number of 15, don't save them until after the next cutscene. Then you can get 3 "instant" saves with 3 more coming up within the next minute or so. So you will already be 6 down within that first minute
So watch the counter and timer at all times and don't waste saves on already completed objectives if you are struggeling with respawns.
BTW. The enemie respawns work much the same way.
First mob is always frigates, then cruisers, then battleships...
So by not killing the frigate mob entirely (maybe just cut them down a little) the harder enemies won't spawn until you have Undine or even voth on the map to help you deal with them.
I successfully solo an area with this tactic on Elite by now.
