Plasma burn is exotic damage right?

would Plasma Burn procs activate Protonic Energy Stabilizer Module on the Console - Science - Shield Refrequencer?

It says, when using exotic Damage, and shield drain abilities, 10% chance: # Proton Damage, (100% Shield penetration, double damage vs. Voth.)

The wiki says: Your Exotic Particle, Charged Particle Burst, and Tachyon Beam abilities have a 10% chance: to deal 330.6 shield penetrating Proton damage. (This damage is doubled against Voth Starships.}

I'm wondering if the Romulan plasma burn proc would be included. It's boosted by Exotic Damage. So it's considered Exotic damage right? So would the proc going off also give you a 10% of activating the Proton Damage?

If so. I'm throwing one of these one my Romulan Warbird. That would be a nice little damage boost to my Romulan Plasma beams.

I also don't see it as OP, it's only a 10% on the already 2.5% of the proc going off.

Plasma burn is Plasma damage.

"Exotic Damage and shield drain abilities" - here the short list:

- Gravity well: yes
- Tykens Rift: no (wtf?)
- Tachyon beam: yes
- Tractor beam: yes
- Tractor beam repulsor: no (wtf?)
- Charged Particle Burst: yes
- Feedback Pulse: no
- Photonic Shockwave: iirc no - please confirm

and in short: don't use PES
