Could just be a chain reaction. Couple people started under pricing each others to sell quicker, then it snowballed from there.
Well excuse me for having enormous flaws that I don't work on.

    80 Million is cheap.. lol.

I'll never understand how people get so many EC, it would take me months to get that much money and that's if I did nothing but grind.

At any rate, it's a nice ship just a little soft on the hull and kinda ugly. Other then that, looking at the stats it seems pretty nice. Biggest downside I can see is that the included console is underwhelming at best.

    Change, really.

A single crafted item can sell for 100 million and way more if you're lucky.

I go back and forth ont he Console. It is like a free TSS when needed. And if a ship has a console that's useable I try to use it since it's a special. I'm sure as time passes all locked to a ship consoles get that takina way.
But, performance wise the ship is a beast. Wish it did look a little better. But, amazing ship.
    Like a Avenger with a 4/4 layout that can run OSS1 and OSS2. It's a win/win, so I'm diggin it.

But, I hoped out of the DSD thats in my sig to play with it. And I rather love the looks of the DSD int he Nukara shield.

Grinding the mats alone takes time and effort.
Crafting is worth it, if you already have your dil ready, and lots of time to afford. That's why it's 100mil, because only a few people do that.

I have lvl15 in several crafts since DR, and still haven't crafted a single item, even for myself (I want an omni beam for my sci, and TR-whatever for my char). I'm still lacking a bunch of mats.

80mil is the price for a ship when the lockbox have been released for some time. Quite usual really, paid 60mil for my wells, just FYI. You still have supply (lockbox available), and less demand because those who wanted the ship already have it. Price will rise after the lockbox is no more available, and some other ship is taking the spotlight.

Some ground missons take 5 to 10mins and give you 1 million at at a minium per run.

Point me in the direction of those ground missions please.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Ever since the new R&D system came out i've just been playing the game like i always have. Come to find out that i had around 1300-1500 rubidium and 1300-1500 z-particles saved up across several of my most played characters. In under 2 hours last night i made 170mil e.c. selling off rubidium and z-particles i didnt need.

Ship actually looks quite nice in your vid. Does it ever feel 'squishy?' 71k hull at level 60 is a little light. Bridge and console layout is near perfect though, it's actually a very nice ship! Makes me wish I knew how to effectively farm EC.

If you could share a little of that info, I would appreciate it, because to me 80M EC is way beyond what I can get.

I might give that a look. I'm just hesitant to sell my mats thinking I might need them one day. If I can sell them for big money though, probably easier to use the money to just buy what I need instead of trying to craft/upgrade it. Once I hit 15th level in R&D I probably won't even be able to afford to craft anything.

One thing I have never been able to do in this game is figure out how to make a lot of EC. Got a pretty firm handle on everything else, but that one gets me. Thinking about just selling Master Keys or Fleet Modules. I want a Plasmonic Leach. :D

Xindi carrier was 200-300mil when released... that why i am confused about Benthan price.

One ship was desirable. The other is not. Is it so hard to see why?

Maybe people realize T6 isn't the end all be all that people thought they were going to be? :P

You need to look at the ship class and what competition they had.

Narcine is a tactical oriented dual hangar carrier with 4/3 weapon layout and 4 tac slots. On its release how many other tactical oriented dual hangar carriers with 4/3 weapon slots and 4 tac consoles were there? pretty much all other carriers were sci or eng. Karfi and Voquv may have come close but they only had LCdr tac and they were only available to KDF. Recluse and Obelisk were available to Fed and Rom-Fed but they were heavy sci or eng ships and they only had 3/3 weapons or didnt have the tac consoles (but Recluse does have uni Cdr boff seat). That pretty much leaves the JHDC which has the same dual hangar, 4/3 weapons, and tac consoles. But the Narcine has better turn, better inertia rating, and though i may not have a JHDC i'm guessing that the stock Narcine pet (which i do have) is a lot better. On top of that i think that in order to get the JHAS hangar pet on the JHDC you have to first own the JHAS lockbox ship. The JHAS ship is supposed to be good for pvp and because of that and probably a few other reasons, the JHAS ship costs 400mil E.C. I can buy an advanced Mobulai or Elite Mobulai if i just go to the dil store or my fleet store.

Ok so thats the carriers...now what about the Cruisers? I'm not even going to list them all here. Each faction has cruisers out the butt...T5 and MU T5 which even though are not upgradeable people will still use. And then you have T5U and T6 cruisers. If a Benthan costs more then a T6 zen store cruiser you think people are going to want to buy the Benthan? 3000 zen has an equivalent value of roughly 60-65mil EC using the master key to EC conversion. The Benthan would need to have something really amazing to justify a cost of 200mil.

3k zen is more like 70-75mio with keys to ec. Which is why the benthan at 80 is about as cheap/expensive as any c-store T6 ship.

Considering the number of them on the Exchange, the price is pretty high...83 of them. There's only 18 S'golth, and that's under 60m.

The S'golth is not very attractive. I haven't checked, but so is probably the hirogen ship (I remember it was not very expensive when the hirogen box was running, and I haven't seen many hirogen ships).

The Benthan is a fine cruiser. But honestly, it's just a cruiser, and we have many of them around.

Not my video, i gave it as an example, i have to many ships in my spaceport to buy another one , a fleet of scimitars is enough for me :D . But as you can see from vid. very capable ship.
