fleet t6 ships soon?

I know that T6 fleet ships will be coming some time after Delta rising released, but no timetable. When they DO come out, will we have to upgrade our fleets at all to buy them if they are already maxed currently?

I have a chunk of fleet marks I can use, but want to save them to help the upgrade if we need to do an upgrade.

    It's almost a certainty that a fleet's T5 shipyard will need an upgrade in order to offer Fleet T6 ships. I'd hang onto my marks if I were you.

    They are working on more tier 6 ships (yes, one is they typhoon) though knowing cryptic, I wouldn't be surprised if they put in a new fleet holding first

    I hope to GOD that this wont be needed.. i mean anything.

    There are maybe 2 guys in my fleet with t6 ships.
    On top of this we got like 6 projects running and the only thing left is pretty much the dilithium for those projects.. since weeks.
    Its millions of dilithium and there is no way right now that anyone can really invest dilithium thanks to cryptic.

    At least our fleet stuff is pretty much maxed out already.. but still millions of dilithium... cryptic dont do it!

    I hear you on that one. There are so many freaking dili sinks in this game it is ridiculous. At 8k dili a day for a character it takes months just to upgrade 1 item by 1 rarity category much less anything else you might need dili for. Each time they add a new sink it makes getting meaningful amounts of that much harder.

    No timetable means no timetable, I am afraid, everyone is left to guess.


    Maybe they'll add them when a certain benchmark group of players is finished with Mark XIV upgrades and they need to add another "grind" source to keep them playing.

    Maybe it's after Secondary Deflectors for all Science Vessels.

    How about Secondary Deflectors before we worry about T6 Fleet ships?

    I cannot imagine that T6 shipyard will be available without a T6 SB; so you can plan on an epic dil sink to upgrade the SB's to support the shipyards. It may even be necessary to upgrade the mine or spire to handle the new technologies for T6... :eek:

    Really surprised people don't understand how this works

    First they dupe you into upgrading to a T5U, then they sell you a newly made T6 ship, then they finish off your spirit by making you grind like crazy for the next fleet holding so you can unlock your fleet ship upgrades for T6, and only then will you have the honour of paying cryptic for it.

    Well we don't know for sure if there will be another holding, though with cryptics MO, I wouldn't put it past them to do that to the playerbase.
