The looks and sounds of the starships we saw on screen were always a big deal since they set the tone for the entire show or movies. You can instantly recognize a TMP bridge, the TNG LCARS or the low pitched humming of DS9's alert siren. I would very much like to see the ability to customize one's UI in looks and sounds to appeal to the different show's aesthetics.
As I understand it, Cryptic has the rights to use everything from the shows, animated series and ten movies. So the UI artists and sound technicians should be able to design UIs based on a classic TOS look, the TNG LCARS or a original Cryptic design as well as let us choose between the current TOS/TNG alert siren, the unique TAS/TMP double siren or the deep humming of later TNG installments such as Voyager or DS9. The same applies, of course, to the Klingons which have their fair share of visuals, as well as Nausicaan, Orion or Gorn designs to interprete.
I think this game is in serious need of such "small things" to make it feel better
