Borg Disconnected VOs messed up

Seems like November 6th's patch messed up the VO for Borg Disconnected. The Bord Queen sounds like Diva Plavalaguna and the Voth sound like the Undine.

    They seem to have added a bit of post processing to make their voices sound less human.

    At first the queen's voice sounded like a normal person talking, now it uses an effect similar to the one used in TNG for ship to ship Borg transmissions. It sounds kinda echoey almost.

    There's a different effect for the Undine. it makes them sound kinda like someone talking with a mouthful of water.

    They made the Queen really deep and much more different.


    I like the deeper Undine voice.

    The change to the Undine is fine, as is the way they kept the Voth but, the Queen sounds way off.

    She has and, would never sound like that at all.

    Please change her back or, to something more appropriate.

    Exactly.

    1) The Borg Queen sounded spot-on before Nov. 6th. Now her voice is way too low.
    2) The Voth have (accidentally?) received the same post-processor as the Undine. Nowhere else in STO do Voth sound like that.
    3) The new, lower Undine post-processing sounds very nice.

    If they want to give the Queen a voice like the Borg transmission, they just need to keep her pitch at the same level, and just add the electronic effect.

    Maybe. Anyways, it's safe to say that the current (November 6th-patch) version of her voice in Borg Disconnected is not intentional and most likely an error. I hope this can be tackled soon(ish)!

    I actually like the Queen's new voice. After all the defeats she suffered lately her voice processor is damaged beyond repair. Even her royal nano-probes can't help her.

    Before the change, this mission had the worst VOs in the game. I honestly wonder if they were placeholders that got pushed live. The Voth sounded nothing like any other Voth, the Undine was terrible, and the Queen...wasn't half bad, but it didn't sound like her normal voice, either. Probably a different actress, which is understandable.

    The post processing helps, but really, this mission could just use better VOs. I'd hate for the Voth and Undine to go back to the unfiltered voices, they were so bad.
