Mk XII to Mk XIII Damage Increase

Sorry if there is another thread on this, I couldn't find one. Does anyone have any numbers on the damage increase on space weapons from taking them from Mk XII to Mk XIII?

I don't care to upgrade to Mk XIV, but I already have the dil to take my pew pews to Mk XIII, but I am just wondering if the space weapons are worth doing now or if the damage increase is so low that I might as well wait and get to it when I get to it.

    IIRC, thers about a 5% increase from 12 to 13.

    and about 20% increase from 13 to 14.

    ^ This is about right. I chanced a BA to XIV to see the difference and it was worth it. Yet, unlesd you can make the upgrade mats yourself, then the cost to XIV is not worth it in the short run.

    Bottom line: go for XIII because any boost in damage is boost in damage. You will also be ready to get to XIV if/when you want to.

    Now then, rarity upgrade is another discussion and will be a significant investment is resources that will ultimstely rely on luck.

    Cool thanks, sounds like the boost from XII to XIII is about the same as the boost was from XI to XII. Its cheap to knock out since I can make the tech upgrades.

    Glad to hear the boost to XIV is more sizeable, but with how much it costs I won't be in any hurry.

    Yes the upgrade from XIII to XIV is worth it for the damage increase but the cost is pretty steep, so i only realistically expect that to be a long term goal for most of my weapons on my ship. If I can do one upgrade to XIV every month then it gives me something to aim for and keep me playing.
    No point rushing through as once you max all your gear what's left to do?!? :confused:
