Instead of ranting about how various players are either not doing 'what they are supposed to' and/or just going afk; I postulate the event is set up to encourage poor behavior from players. Mainly because you can complete the event in same time for the first section no matter if everyone fights or no one (at least on normal) Might i suggest the following changes:
1st, double the timer... wait don't complain yet, hear me out first. Event advances now either at end of timer OR when station reaches level 5. Marks are awarded for station health, number of rifts closed AND time left on the timer. Therefor working as a team, closing rifts and powering up the station means you can complete the event FASTER with more marks, no need to wait on the timer. There is motivation for players to participate this way if only to get it done faster.
I just want it to be over much faster, I don't care about the marks personally. So yeah, I'm all for the event advancing when the station reaches level 5.
Just Event 14 items needed, marks are good! I rather get the delta marks now available. I use this event to test out my new weapons and extras. Rifts and transfer power if you can get those done good for you, but otherwise I protect the station and then go after the final target the I.S.S Unknown Name Ship. I'll help others out if they need it.
