The problem with trying to compare the current pets with pets before delta rising and now is that we do not know what the health of a level 60 pet was. Level 60 pet did not exist.
All I know is that the health of pets were never more then the hull of the players ship themselves. That is the only reason why I know it was a bug. I do know it was changed with this last patch.
I can only assume it is normal now that I have about the same hull even though it is not exact.
Well, it looks like they did a great job all around!
Great Job Cryptic!
We all hope to see many more great improvements in the near future!
This, is the goal, of narrheehaw It's mission, to destroy new worlds and civilizations

Funny thing: this night i have seen my pets taking care of frigate spawns of the mirror universe all by themselves - not loosing a single Delta Flyer ( rare ) - leveling up and taking care of a typhoon at full stars...
Somehow i must have caught some bug, because they were like on steroids...
After DR launched, my aquatic pets had 147,000+ hull. After the first nerf to NPC hull, they were around 79,000 hull. Now they are a little higher than 59,000 hull.
So far, every time they nerfed the NPC's hull, my pets had theirs nerfed as well. I hope that they don't nerf the pets anymore than they already have. So far they already die too quick if I am not constantly healing them on normal. When I go into advanced, they almost always die before I can do much of anything for them.
It is already sad how pointless they have become. Mine are about the size of the Defiant, but drop as soon as hit. One volley of the Torp spread from a cruiser in normal mirror will wipe them out in one go.
Leader of Elite Guardian Academy.Would you like to learn how to run a fleet? Would you like to know how to do ship builds (true budget as well as high end)? The join the Academy today!
actually this wasnt a pet nerf, it was an npc hp nerf as pets are considered npc any buff or reduction to hp will effect pets as well lost about 24k on my pets...pet nerf still yet to come
as for the odyssey pet its always been pretty much worthless the saucer too level 37 mirror forces from deep space patrol near ds9 can knock it out within a matter of seconds its a really bad pet and supposed to be part of the flag ship of the federation (heh the flagships them selfs arent even that good either lol) may the iconians have mercy!
tbh it loses in most fights think it does ok against level 1 bops in sirius sector deep space but thats only for a little bit as well lol
11/06/2014 today, roughly 1 hour after servers came back up. I was about to reply to another pet health post when i noticed that my pet health was lower. I even went to the same DQ patrol system that i tested 2 days ago.

Are those numbers for the advanced danubes the total hull for the entire wing, or for just one of them? If just one of them, ya I agree with a nerf. A single runabout shouldn't have more hull than a player ship. If its the total for the wing, maybe just a slight nerf, not as much as what happened, but a wing of runabouts still shouldn't pose a starship level threat.
Support 90 degree arc limitation on BFaW! Save our ships from looking like flying disco balls of dumb!
To be fair, yes, the NPC reduction affected the pets as well, probably they are on the same table, also, they are quite funtional still, i notice they last longer than before, their hull rating was too high before the patch, thy are kind of normal now... wat i'm going to miss is the resistance of my Galaxy Refit saucer... it was finally doing something and not exploding the moment of launch... oh well...

The fix may have been aimed at something else, but it still indirectly nerfed player pet health. I'm guessing that most players dont care about the source of the problem...we care about how it affects us. However i'm guessing that they are still far from done. Pet health may no longer be linked to npc health or whatever the change was that altered pet health yesterday. But i'm thinking that now they plan on looking at all the pet tables and make sure that they are no scaling properly on their own.
And who knows? maybe they will give us those pet aoe resistance passives and better pet ai we are asking for? haha..yah.

Ha ha ha ha! Danube's with more hull than the carrier.
That deffo needed sorting out somehow.
Perhaps they could do with inherited resists? Dunno.
But a danube with 52k hull is crazy.

The numbers were just for 1 pet
