Ferenginar

When will we get to go to Ferenginar? Sense the Ferengi are part of the Federation, why cant we go to Ferenginar for stuff like rare items or Duty officer missions? I would really love to see it in game some day.

    Yeah we need Ferenginar. How else am I suppose to throw people off the tower of commerce?

    It would give me some variety. Right now I can only shove them out air locks.

    The Ferengi are not part of the Federation. Read the Path to 2409. Grand Nagus Rom wanted to join the Federation but the Ferengi people rejected his proposal.

    It would be nice to have Ferenginar however :)

    Yes Whats up with that? there is so much more that this game can add to the universe that wasn't seen in the series

    they're prob saving it for another expansion or season when they can afford Armin Shimmerman

    We could have a new season where the new content would be another reputation project (giving more reason to go to these new areas that would need to be added). Maybe a title such as "Members of the Federation" and "Members of the Klingon Empire". I could see more non-combat related objectives and such since these are not currently war zones.

    Give them more reason to put in more homeworlds and flush out the few we have.

    I remember seeing Concept Art of Ferenginar back in 2006 but that was when Perpetual was "developing" STO.

    True that would be great to have a Ferengi based season where you have to employ measure to sell items and earn your way up in Ferengi commerce. Possibly adding a new title.

    It was probably done because Nog left the traditional Ferengi system to train as a Star Fleet Officer, paving the way for more of his kind. It is in like fashion to permitting Trills in the KDF on the basis of Dax's connections to Klingons.

    The Ferengi have established a solo shuttle service to their homeworld that costs way more than the Federation is willing to pay. Sadly, that service is the only way a ship will be allowed to get anywhere near Ferenginar.

    Don't try landing there on your own. They will repossess your ship and sue you.

    If you don't like the idea of the Ferengi not joining the Federation, you may file an official complaint to their government. Submission of that complaint will cost you 50k dil and 100k bars of latinum.
