Ok so here is my Guardians current build at arond lvl 53

Its on a alt so im only just starting to grind the reputation systems so while i dont have the torpedoes yet i do plan on getting them.
also as im writing this the server is down so im not 100% sure on the consoles or marks of the items but to be honest they are not grand, most are RAUH and its still a work in progress but id love some advice before i precede further.

I see Fleet components/consoles so I beileve that your alt is in a fleet.
I wouldn't bother buffing torpedoes, especially since you are losing weapon damage by doing that. Get another Phaser Relay in that slot... then later replace all with Fleet Tactical consoles.
Replace your Ablative Hull armor with Enhanced (Fleet) Neutronium with your choice of additional modifiers... or additional Enhanced RCSs to make the ship spin!
You can go with an Aux2Batt build for power increase on Weapons, shields and engines. This way you can get rid of both EPtWs for more engineering heals/buffs.
Dual Beam Banks only provide a marginal improvement on damage, your better off with a beam array to get a wider firing arc for broad-siding.
You can add Beam Overload ability and you get the equivalent of having a torpedo without sacrificing a beam weapon slots, or at least like having one more torpedo.
I believe that the weapon that you equip in the left most slot will be used most often by special weapon abilities like Beam Overload. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but from what I have seen it seems to be true.
I've heard that Aceton Beam is not as useful as having Directed Energy Modulation. I'll leave that up for debate.
My suggestions are only for what I see as optimizations, if you have more fun with what you are already doing... then go for it!

Better to run emergency power functions and boost your energy that way. You should get all of them well over or at 100 doing that. I'd replace one of the eptw with epts, and add ionic turbulence to the mix.

Not sure if Aceton is worth it DEM 3 is better on cruisers.
The DOFFs and BOFFs also help enhance the ship: mine is set up with this - 2 Efficent BOFFs, 2 Rom tac BOFFs, 1 Human BOFF with my DOFFs enhancing power and cool down times for GW.

I use them on my tac Vesta FED tac officer alt... she enjoys toying with the boys with this.
Hehe, I just saw that video in the blog... makes me consider the Guardian for my main toon soon over the Dauntless.
You know, I'm having so much fun with the Dauntless as well, even without the Trifecta of Fed Intel Ship Mastery. Can't WAIT to see that beast when I DO have it on that toon.

I go with Hazard Emitters, but slot Ionic Turbulence in the intel slot. It works amazingly well with gravity well. Not a fan of TBR really.
