    The reason for the change is that it was never intended for advanced to be failed as much as the metrics that the devs get state. Advanced was designed to be a new elite given the new power creep, not significantly harder than the old elite queues. When a large amount casual players are having problems completing advanced queues (Particularly the Borg ones) in order to get reputation gear and VR mats, then there is a clear problem, and it needed adjusting.

    Resolved an issue which was causing the audio for “Rock and Roll” to be heard by every player on a map when one player uses the power.

    But that's the best part! You should reduce it to a 5km radius of the player using it; as if the user is taunting the other NPCs or players (in PvP) while rockin' and rollin' away.

    Aside from that, things are starting to look better.

    • PvE Queues:
      • Delta Marks can now be earned when completing the “Mirror Invasion” event.
      • Increased Dilithium rewards for all queues.
        • Normal queues will reward 360 Dilithium upon successful completion.
        • Advanced queues reward 720 Dilithium upon successful completion.
        • Elite queues reward 1440 Dilithium upon successful completion.
    • Increased Dilithium rewards by 50% in Adventure Zones and Battle Zones.
      • For an example, if the Dilithium reward for an Adventure Zone mission was 10, it will now be 15.

    • Upgrade System:
      • Federation Type 3 Phaser Rifles can now be upgraded.
      • Plasma-Disruptor Hybrid Beam arrays can now be upgraded.
      • Polarized Tetryon Beam Arrays can now be upgraded.
      • Adaptive Transphasic Torpedo can now be upgraded.
      • Nanopulse Lirpas can now be upgraded.
      • Bat’leths can now be upgraded.

    Thank you for announcing the addition of new stuff to that which can be upgraded.

    Still no word on a joystick control fix? Hm? What's the holdup can't you just use the same fix as last time? And the time before? And the time before?


    Priorities, Cryptic! Focus on getting the game ACCESSIBLE to those of us with hand/joint issues, THEN get our Mac-driving foo- I mean FRIENDS back in the game THEN worry about things like text corrections and typos.

    Nerfing Advanced into old "elite" helps no one. If it happens we wind up with the same mess that old elite became.

    I rather doubt They are going to nerf it that badly.

    And what part of my sentence "I have always played the game on Advanced", did you not understand?

    I'm sorry. My eyes glazed over pointlessness. That was 100% sure on me

    Also maybe you are right, they won't nerf it that bad but still. If elite is 10 Advanced should 7-8 at most. Old elite was 4.

    It took me a moment to figure out what your numbers meant...

    Old Elite was 8+ for a very long time, till the Universal Consoles started piling up.

    The new Normal will probably end up being 3-4, with Advanced around 5-7 and the new Elite being a 9-10.

    Just my opinion, mind you.

    I'm a little taken back by this myself. the "old Elite" was 1440, so even if "buffed" up, it's still half of what a majority of players were getting prior. They said themselves that the new Elite was only for the "best of the best" but those players will be the only ones who saw dilithium rewards at least remain flat. For the rest of us, it remains a 50% cut to pre-expansion rates.

    This will not bode well for the casual player.

    Elites were 1440 only perhaps before free to play. Since then up till about last year this time, if i recall well, they were 1100. And since then right up till DR, they were 960 dil.
    TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
    Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

    Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

    • Resolved an issue where shuttle loadouts would not automatically apply when entering a queue that automatically switches the player’s ship to a shuttle.
    • Resolved an issue where items saved to a loadout would occasionally remove itself from its slot when transferring to another map.
    • Resolved an issue where items shared between the active ship and current shuttle do not move when swapping between them.

    A good start. But dont leave it there. We have many issues with boffs and doffs not saving and loading as well.

    Bah, and I was really enjoying the Advanced queues. Rest of the changes are fine, but you should really just throw the current Advanced rewards into Normal and leave the decent mid-tier difficulty alone.

    And anyone who thinks you need high DPS to finish the current Advanced missions is wrong. Maybe Hive, but I've only attempted it once so far, and it was always a comparatively tough mission. The others, it just takes five players with decent builds and some teamwork.

    Some items are still being broken or nerfed when placed into the upgrade system, such as embassy science consoles and the ZPM.

    This is a good start, but PWE/Cryptic you have a LOT of damage control to do. Our fleet has already started moving over to another game. You need to up skillpoint rewards across the board and get rid of these idiotic timers for stfs, at this point all I'm doing is logging in and doffing on 5 toons, rep on 1, then logging off. And I've only done that intermittently this past week between leveling my toon on our new game. All of us in DT log in less and less each day, I already have one fulltime job I don't need another. I come here to relax and have fun, neither of which I can find in this game anymore. It's nice that you're finally listening though, too bad it had to come at the price of how many accounts? Hundreds? Thousands?

    Exactly! It was designed to be done with DR powercreep... Which I suspect most people don't have. Which is the problem, people are demanding it be nerfed for pre-DR powercreep.

    Yes and they should have just adjusted the rewards for the normal queues. That's it. Not continually nerf any challenge advanced presents.

    I didn't see any Delta Marks as option when finishing the daily Mirror Event. Also I was wondering what was floating at DR CC it was little green ship. There are some pockets in the tunnels that a player can get stuck in if the player moves to close to the tunnel walls at DR CC.

    Is there news on the upgrade of Hirogen_Tetryon_Blast_Rifle yet?
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Known Issues:
    • The Federation, Klingon, and Romulan tutorials award the incorrect type of kits upon completion of the tutorial.
    • KDF aligned Romulans will see duplicate powers when training Bridge Officers.
      • One set of the powers are invalid.
    • The Bio-Neural Gel Pack in the Delta Alliance Reputation system does not apply the correct amount of Subsystem Power Boost.

    I think its save to put the swimwear incident to the known/working at issues :)
