An expansion pack about Voyager comes out...

they don't have time to revisit the Voyager, aka Intrepid science vessel, which is still horrible for PvP.

    Well, actually a voyager revamp would be very nice and welcome, we have a lot of fans of this vessel in the pvp community but... #cryptic

    Devs: "We don't want to spend time on <insert here> that doesn't make us money or have a significant use in the game.
    Devs make new Intrepid bridge.
    Devs revamp the Intrepid ship model.
    Devs don't do anything new with the model, and only make the new Intrepid bridge for missions, instead of releasing it and the Intrepid interiors as part of an Intrepid pack.

    those old tier 4 hero ships seem like the best candidates for a tier 6 relaunch, especially the intrepid.

    the process they should use for going about a tier 6 retrofit for the defiant, galaxy and intrepid is simple

    -up the ENS station into an LT, and make it universal
    -make the LTC station an intel hybrid
    -give tier 5U console setup

    include no ship trait on tier 6 retrofits, have those only come on native tier 6. with no trait, charge 2500 zen for them. feds have enough traits already

    I agree. This would finally make the Galaxy somewhat useful for the new PvEs.

    Intrepid needs a new modern version.
    In fact all 3 fed ships that are left4dead: defiant, MVAE, Intrepid need Uni Boffs/Intel hybrid, a console set bonus etc.
    Voyager wasn't even similar to what intrepid is in STO.

    I'm willing to bet that a Tier 6 Intrepid will be released concurrent with the Intrepid interior.

    I think you may have it. We know the devs have said something to the effect that CBS won't let them use there new voyager bridge for player ships. I'm sure its all about CBS trying to get some more $ out of Cryptic.

    So either Crytpic is waiting to have expansion pack profits flow to them softening there price as they will see more $$$.... or for the expansion pack to NOT flow profits there way also softening there price.

    Cryptic is negotiating more profit for themselves like the good ferengi they are.

    They said they're releasing it for player interiors, I never heard that they can't. They let us have the Defiant and TOS Connie bridge.

    It only goes to T5U, it is suppose to horrible for PvP.

    THIS ^^ they are Taco said they had in lined up with a wait time to go live for players so its coming just a matter of when not if.

    I never said it wouldn't I said they where negotiating. I have heard and perhaps it isn't 100% true but I don't doubt the source. ;) I have heard that what CBS wants $ wise wasn't to Cryptics liking... So they will either pay it but release it later when they need the sales bump... or perhaps sooner IF CBS decides they want the bump in royalties.

    Bottom line if I was guessing... expect it around 2-3 weeks before a Quarterly reporting period. lmao
