In any case the people I am encouraging to try vpvp are the self proclaimed current "great" players including one in particular that has an entire self ego stroking thread full of videos using nothing but op TRIBBLE. I have come to find out the ones that don't care about tough quality matches are pretty much here to troll pvp anyways. So I guess you can just write them off.

In last 2 years i logon maybe 10-15 times,mostly to check new updates,but yeah i vas active in pvp 2010-2012 so i know you realy good Talon.,not easy to forget someone like you.Anyway i know thats you cause i have friend who still gpvp in this game and he told me,so i couldnt resist to respond when i noticed your posts.:D

I treated myself to the maha raptor for my kdf 'because he's worth it' but haven't gone full Intel ship...yet at least.
Anyways pvpers are all like 'we pay more than pve crowd so give us more Pvp stuff' ...so we need to put our money where our mouths are! I don't begruge players contributing to the game and if you don't invest in the latest gear then sorry you are gonna get beat all day long and that's nothing to do with Dr its true since day one.
Judging by these posts I'm glad I took a break when I did.
by the way Virus Dancer, GTA V will be coming to PC soon, with exclusive content for PS4/Xbox 1 and PC.
All of Rockstars DLC is free to Download, the PC Servers for GTA online will be free (with micro-transactions for in game cash of course) and sony keep PS4 online servers free as well with some people opting to pay for playstation plus... only Microsoft charge for online game play with their gold accounts etc...
I for one can vouch for GTA's excellent gameplay and a good 150+ hours of gameplay (using all 3 characters not including finding everything in the game) and then you've got GTA Online. Basically another MMO or sorts where the only thing you can pay to win for in the game is in game cash to buy cars and planes etc... which is achievable without paying.
And the PvP in GTA is much more satisifying XD.
As for the PvP in this game, I may have taken a break but I'm Still reading and I'm not exactly instilled with confidence.
Being forced to get these new items (yes I know it can be grinded for) seems like a bit of a (insert your own word here) move. I'm finding it hard to find a reason to return.... which is a shame since I have invested a lot of time and money into this game....but alas....
I'll keep a watch on here to see if anything improves over the next few months
Nope, that's why I moved to MMOs over a decade ago. Way too many games that you pay way too much for, are done in a weekend, and are left wondering why you keep doing that...tada, MMOs - continual minimal investment for extended play.

Never buy full price unless you know its going to be worth it. Ie sequel to a series you like, developer you like, good reviews, etc
With second hand games and steam sales there's no reason to pay full price.
This is a big reason why I quit pvp pretty much and it happened over time instead of an instant okay I'm done. Cryptic's inabiltiy to provide balance and elements of the community prepared to use those elements or go premade vs pug then wonder why the more casual pvpers left.
With the current Meta I quit Sto PvP too until they changed mostly everything they released.
It's symply no fun anymore. I adapt after every change the last 4 yrs. Before DR there was still fun in pvp - compared to the current state.
For our loved CM, DR is a great succes stomping Sto's PvP. :mad:

The DPS crowd was the reason I built a Feedback Pulse ship and captain.
Just to troll them a bit. And if you do it right, (and are aware - and ready for their strikes) you can frustrate them right back.
It's pretty fun, except when the odd KDF player gets all sore about you using a feedback pulse build. They get angry that you've shoved the uber DPS back into their fragile escorts.
I fragged so many DPS'ers that way its not even funny.
(but it is actually funny - tee hee )
That being said;
There's no way Im stepping back into Ker'rat until my ship has been upgraded sufficiently.
This upgrading TRIBBLE seriously blows, so darn expensive. it'll be a few months before Im ready again. (Unfortunatly) as I really did enjoy flying Ker'rat on a semi regular basis.

I would completely quit too, but I still will log on briefly to make my rounds in the troll B'rel to spam these intel users I find in Kerrat and in the queues if they ever pop. I am done taking pvp or anything in this game seriously though, and am done putting any effort or money into it.
I thought they might have put a nail on the pvp coffin but heck with the hobos out cryptic used a nail gun put the coffin in the hole then dumped concrete on that TRIBBLE!
I did make a super tank that can take this TRIBBLE and live but hell it was shut down like 80% of the fight so i couldn't kill the other guys...
I should be refunded 80% of my spent cash because I can only play the game 20% of the time I am logged on! seams legit right?
Looks Cryptic has till around Dec 16th... to convince us that STO Pew is still worth keeping things installed on our systems.
Hmm, not really my type of game, more into capital/multi-crew ships. ED is supposedly adding them sometime later, but who knows when that is. Also the space combat looks a bit on the basic side.
Does Dangerous have a dedicated PvP arena like Star Citizen?

I concur with Zelda. I was hoping for some kind of rapid fixes to the DR problems, but whatever comes it will be too little, too late.
When PvE, PvP is simply no fun any more and the grind has become too much, it's time to call it quits.
