Missions are becoming way too long

Is it just me, or are missions becoming way too long. I love this game, and I really enjoy playing these missions, but when I sit down to play one I don't want to be at the same mission an hour and a half later.

Early game missions I could get through in twenty to thirty minutes, but now that I am in end game content(Delta Quadrant), I just don't have any interest in dedicating that much time to only a single mission.

I don't have too long to play this game on a daily basis, and there's a lot more I'd like to get done in-game than just one mission.

Is it just me, or is there any one else who feels this way? I mean, couldn't they perhaps just cut the missions into smaller more numerous ones? At least then it'd give the game a slightly bigger feel to it.

The only one I had a real problem like this on was the last mission as an enemy got stuck inside a satelite and I ended up having to change a boff out to one with Eject Warp Plasma to slowly but surely fry them. On elite that mission ended up taking 3 hours, especially as a 2nd glitch occured where I couldn't get to the final room.... But I digress, I found most of the missions to be not so bad, the final mission should be epic n proportions,

Also isn't it possible to leave most missions once you reach certain points and return to them later through 'Continue: Long mission I couldn't complete in one go'? Especially ones where you need to travel to different systems.

There are some much longer missions at the higher levels, but I don't mind them. I think the rewards they give are way too low given their time requirement though.

That's the real problem with them, imho. Some of the new delta missions are well done but it's simply not worth for the sake of leveling or grinding xp. One and a half hour (or more) for a 2k xp reward? Yeeeah, no, see you in the patrols....
