I just got the space flanking chicken skill but is there any explanation in the game as to what the rear arc of a borg cube and sphere are to be? thanks in advance!
Obviously it is the arc that faces away from you but err is there any way to tell?
When you have something targeted, there is a little white arrow on the target info pointing to a shield facing - that is the arc that you are attacking from...

It's generally in the opposite of whatever direction they're moving. But yes, with this new mechanic we're actually seeing the design of borg ships do what it's supposed to do. Kinda funny really.
I typically just fly around them until I start seeing the flanking show up if they're sitting still. Then they spin in space back and forth and I have to try to compensate for that as much as possible without taking weapons out of arc.
Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.

Thanks for that!!
The real reason resistance is futile: too hard to find their aft arcs!
"Clearly" indeed lol
