Seeing as how the moderators have begun to close any and all threads discussing Cryptic's recent actions regarding a certain event that shall not be named - Frankly - here's another in protest. I'm sorry, but what you're doing is flat out wrong. Silencing us to cover that up only makes things worse. It doesn't matter whether it's up for discussion or not. The matter is NOT closed, and it is NOT going away. I and many others have been wronged, and it's not even about the points, effort, or time lost to me anymore. It's a matter of principle. This is wrong, and to not stand up in protest of it is wrong as well.
As for submitting a ticket being our only recourse - Ya, I and others I know have done that. I was asked for bloody screenshots of the "issue".. and what my account name was. Because apparently GM's know so little about what's going on that they don't even know who they're talking to and can't be bothered to read more than a sentence or two without an accompanying diagram detailing which skills I had before the "issue" and which I've got now. So much for extensive data logs they'd look over and use to clear our names upon request. And it's not just me either, friends of mine just as innocent as me (we leveled together via STF's) were given the exact same responses word for word.
Oh, and if it's against the rules to discuss the outcome of tickets and the like - no idea if it is - well then that's just plain wrong too. If you do the right thing then you've nothing to hide. Your actions and how you treat your players speak for themselves and will promote your game and company. The only reason to attempt to hide such interactions is because they are shameful and damaging to your reputation.

Debating rules isn't allowed, and the rules are located at the top of every forum as an announcement.
We aren't trying to censor people, which is very obvious over the 5 years these forums have actually been in operation including betas, but the discussions that have been allowed have turned into hate spewing, trolling, flaming threads and posts that just aren't allowed so at this point, it's best to just close them before they get out of control.
No one is saying you shouldn't be mad or upset, everyone from us mod's to our bosses, to their bosses, to cryptic and so on understand that you're upset. It's why Stephen came out and made a post. Was it perfect? Nope. Nothing said or done will make everyone 100% happy. That's just not possible.
