Ships need a facelift

Federation ships are the nicest looking in the game. Klingon and Romulan vessels need an appearance overhaul.

    Can I get some of what you've been smoking?

    All the new Fed ships look horrid. Guardian can be tweaked to look merely pedestrian. The Aelahl, meanwhile, is stunning. The KDF raptor ... well, it isn't that nice looking but then KDF ships tend to be about that whole brutish aesthetic.

    Oh really?

    Look at that beauty - perfection in it's own, thuggish way. This is not some pretty vessel for exploration or mainstream 'science' - this is a brick of raw, simplistic experimentation. Space bends and breaks before it's bow.

    Just plain gorgeous. Ain't a THING Fed-side that compares to good ol' Gorn lines. Clean, efficient, and more then ready to beat you concave and steal your lunch credits.

    I do like the new raptor. I don't have a problem with the KDF aesthetic, although just from looks I like the Mogh or Tor'kaht a bit better. I'd probably buy the new raptor if I wasn't such a cheapskate. ;)

    I would find it a huge improvement if the paint job designs were simply visible on every ship skin, and if the color palette worked. It looks as if the tools are in place to give players a wide variety of different looks. Just get the tools working.
