Apparently the 'EP' thread got closed. Guess this is the only place left then. Let's try and keep it civil, this time, k?
I was enjoying that one at the end. Not the arguing the same points back and forth mind you, but the humor some of us were sneaking in between the popcornfest. I hope this one will stay civil also
It's been reported left and right that people with tons of spec points kept them while others with less than a handful over 10 lost all of them.
What does it take for you to realize cryptic is in the wrong
Dead queues: check
Forum fire: check
Massive backlash: check
Are you just stupid or really stupid? Pick one.
Forum fires and massive backlash have to be taken with a grain of salt. Those with an axe to grind are always going to be loudest.
I'm not saying there aren't issues (there are), but if you judged everything by how much DOOOOOM there was on Internet forums, the universe should have collapsed by now.
Dead queues, for instance, is a better measure of a symptom of the changes made. It's a real problem, because the way that Cryptic is going to redesign queues is by collecting data, and right now the only data they're collecting is that people aren't playing them anymore.
I'd expect a change, sure, but whether the changes will be good is a fair question.
I might be being too logical and sensible to be posting on an Internet forum here, but the signs need to be in metrics that Cryptic can measure and study. There are metrics they're looking at. Pointing at them is fine. Saying "look at all these people complaining" just doesn't work. It's not how you enact change.
There are signs in the numbers as it stands. Let's just concentrate on that, shall we?
