DR Questions ...

Just back from a long break and decided to try out Delta Rising, and as I was playing, a few questions popped up I hope the forum could help me with answering...

1, I have the Romulan Lobi Time ship which I upgraded to t5u but what about the special consoles (temporal set items, other Lobi console items) can they be upgraded and if so... how?

2, I read that only the T6 ships can have the new research BO and thus, get the bonuses from having them... are the bonuses worth it over having a T5u ?

3, Is RnD the only way to get top tier consoles and weapons? Are fleet versions available yet?

That's all for now :-)

    1. If a unique console has stats, then it is likely to be upgradeable. If a unique console is an ability, then it is not upgradeable. There might be exceptions to this rule like the devs forgot to implement upgradability or consoles like the Torpedo Point Defense System might be upgradeable.

    2. The Intel Bridge Officers are just different. There are some good powers and some bad powers just like every other type of Bridge Officer. They are not better.

    3. Fleet and RnD equipment just go up to Mk XII. It is extremely doubtful that there will be Fleet equipment in RnD and RnD equipment in Fleet Stores.

    1) If the console has a MK level, it can be upgraded through the use of Tech Upgrades. Primarily obtainable through R&D Crafting, but you can buy them on the Exchange.

    2) Only T6 Intel Ships have slots that are able to make use of the Intel Boffs. Otherwise, those Boffs function exactly as their other counterparts based on their primary profession (Boffs are Intel Science, Intel Tactical, or Intel Engineering). If your ship doesn't have Intel slots, you can still use the Boff as a normal Boff and all of his usual Trait bonuses apply, he just can't use Intel abilities.

    3) The way to get the absolute top tier stuff now requires input from Rep, R&D, and Fleet. All 3 systems offer a piece of the puzzle, but you can still acquire powerful equipment from any one of the systems.
