I am trying to find out if the game automatically guides you to the latest ep ? I am only level 13 and am still doing the Klingon Front missions. I will also be doing foundry missions to make sure I stay on level . Is this enough to unlock new areas for both LOR and DR?
Once you reach level 44, the STFs unlock. Once you reach level 50, LoR and DR both unlock. We'll see you there. Good luck!
Haven't played the story missions in a very long time. Dusted the cobwebs off my lvl 50 Fed TAC and took her out for a spin. I had forgotten just how much fun some of the missions are. And they certainly look different from what I remember. Best of all - cost zero dilithium or Marks, lol
Best piece of advice I can give you is this: Play the game the way you want to. As long as you are having fun, you are playing it correctly.
A six year old boy and his starship. Living the dream.

Depending on where you are and your levelling habits you could be lv51 or 52 by the time you play out the old episode content. I levelled a couple alts to 50 via the 2x event and they're looking to be 53 or 54 by the time I get done with the DS9/Borg/Deferi/Solanae missions
Okay, okay. So I got it wrong. Now what? A public flogging? Banishment from the game?
"Help, help, I'm being repressed!"
"Bloody peasant!"
"Oh, there's a dead giveaway."
"We have a witch -- may we burn her?"
"How do you know she is a witch?"
"She looks like one!"
"Bring her forward."
"I'm not a witch, I'm not a witch."
"But you are dressed like one."
"They dressed me up like this."
"Well..."
"Well, we did do the nose."
"The nose?"
"And the hat. But she is a witch!"
"Burn her, burn her!"
"How do you know she is a witch?"
"Because she turned me into a newt."
"A newt?"
"I got better."
"Burn her, burn her!"
"What do you burn aside from witches?"
"More witches!"
"Does wood float in water?"
"Yes -- throw her in the pond!"
"What else floats in water?"
"Churches, churches."
"Small rocks."
"Cider."
"Great gravy."
"A duck!"
"Exactly. And therefore..."
"If she weighs the same as a duck, she's made of wood."
"And therefore?"
"A witch!"
"It's a fair cop."
You'll be 60 before you get to the Delta Quadrant missions. I've heard you'll hit 60 before you even get to the Borg/Undine episode. On a Federation character, it was already very possible to hit 50 before the Romulan arc if you were getting other sources of XP besides that from story alone.
Despite all the whining about elite XP nerfs, you still level really fast in this game.
Thanks all. I do seem to be leveling much quicker than the first time..way back 3 years ago. I am doing foundry missions along with the story ones and have found some great missions.

Since when was LoR something that had to be unlocked?

'Underground ruins' unlock with T4 rom rep IIRC. I don't remember if the zone needs to be unlocked to complete the FE or not.

Now shaddup about the queues, it's a BUG
The New Guy asked a question and I answered it without trying to score points off him for the amusement of the "In" crowd.
It doesn't.

To be fair, the New Romulus adventure zone unlocks at level 50.
