Okay so is Delta Rising perfect? Hell no... but I don't think it is nearly as bad as many people on the forums are making it out to be. Yes there are a bunch of bugs old and new, the old trey bug is hitting me now on some of my characters when it never did before but I was reminded of the work around so I did that and back to normal.
The problems with the STFs as they are now are mostly do to players wanting to "dial it in" on advanced like they were on elite before DR... I for one am glad you can't... yes it makes space ques diffcult on advanced but people will either adapt and learn or stop queing, in which those of us that will adapt and learn will be back to getting our stuff done. The ground STF missions are not nearly as hard, the ones that aren't buggy, and easily done even in pugs including Bug Hunt Advanced which as long as you take large hypos and don't bunch up too much is actually pretty easy (please don't take this as a call to make it harder it is only an advanced mission and I am sure the elite version is a better challenge for those looking for that). The problem however is not everyone brings hypos and sometimes they love bunching up and the acid then damages more and more players at once making it harder then it needs to be.
Yes the dill awards got lowered, but you know what? You can still run the Dyson Sphere BZ in about an hour and with the 4 missions and killing the dinos you get about 9k dill after breaking down the marks and voth cyber processors into dill... even at the old award limits it would take alot longer then a single hour to each the 8k refining cap. (I can sometimes complete the run in even less time if I am lucky).
Now I know we need dil for alot of things when we hit 50, but running that ground BZ daily even just once with the 4 missions and then leaving to do other things you will beging getting a backlog of dill to refine so I really don't see the dill problems. Raising the cap would make problems worse in the long run as prices would go up and up along with the cap, just look at how crazy the prices of things are in Neverwinter another Cryptic title but in that one you can refine 24k of it's version of dill... you can almost never change it to zen and things can cost upwards of hundreds of thousands of the the stuff.
DR is NO MORE of a cash grab then any other expansion they have released. To do the PVE content story missions you don't even need to upgrade a T5 ship, though it does help it is hardly needed. Yeah some of the adv space ques you probably should have an upgraded or T6 ship, but unlike Neverwinter we can change dil to zen easily. Running 5 captains I earned,refined and chanegd enough dil to buy 1850 zen in a single week and currently I am at almost 3000 zen about a week after that.
Now I know a lot of people don't have the time to do that like I am, but the point stands that there are ways to do it without spending wads of cash. When Neverwinter which I used to enjoy playing started going places with it's developement making it really a paygated game like you would not believe, much worse then STO by far, I can hardly believe the same company made both games to be honest with how bad it is and I told them so, I after one post stating my problems with how the game went (not with it's story or content but how you can use them) I then just left. I check up on it everyone and then to see if they are fixing anything, which they haven't, because I won't go back unless they do. Now what I DON'T do is hang out on forums constintly yelling nad whining about why I won't go back and what I want them to fix. I DON'T keep beating the dead horse that so many people feel need to keep getting beat even after they say they are leaveing. If you are going to go... just go. If you are going to stay have some self respect and conduct yourself with some dignity and maybe, just maybe people won't take you for a luntaic that's just ranting because he didn't take his meds.
So you know to anyone who plans to respond to this, I have said my peace and I am not going to respond to said ranting luntics who did not take their meds.

I know that's a lot get off your chest! I was going to do the same but end up deleting the post. Full mission in DR and no patrols are fun. FPS lag if I come across one I'll just exit that mission. Win some you loose some. It's just a game, but a game that is fun to play. I haven't been on today yet.
Time will only tell!
